My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A mostly civilised, sometimes anarchistic, often zenic, generally tranquil, politically green, well mannered, Masterlike and poly minded sapiosexual. Ja kyllä, suomi on äidinkieleni ja englanti jotain mitä kirjoittelen nettiin.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Art, culture and publishing. Writing. Architecture and photography take also my time. Work (well, that is just more of the previous). It just may be that I might be ready for real relationships after all these years.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Hmmm... topping cakes? Editing other people's texts. Creating images and visual communication.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I would like to think my mesmerizing personality but maybe it is the long hair.

I read a LOT, mostly modern fiction, also science fiction. Charles Stross, Greg Egan, Alastair Reynolds are all good modern sf writers. Older... R.A. Heinlein never ceases to astonish me -- in good and in bad. Larry Niven is a genius. Gregory Benford and Le Guin have their moments (The Dispossessed is quite a gem), and feminist sf has always interested me: Joanna Russ, Marge Piercy, Jody Scott,, and maybe even (cough) Marion Zimmer Bradley. Of course I have read also John Norman *grin*. Charles Bukowski and Dan Fante (I even made an interview of the latter! Cool guy!). Current finnish writers.

Movies. Tarkovsky & Greenaway. Others are just entertainment. (OK there are Kieslowski, Wong Kar-wai, Trier, Wenders, Antonioni & Visconti, and Liliana Cavani.)

TV shows. Dexter. I wish they would release the bluray version of Twin Peaks soon. Banshee, Justified, Farscape, Game of Thrones and Frasier.

I listen ambient (or space music, or soundscapes). Biosphere, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Lustmord, Loscil, Panamerican, Tim Hecker, William Basinski, Klaus Schulze. Old Berlin School stuff of course. Also, sometimes trance is just the right thing. Classical is fine, at the moment especially John Dowland and Henry Purcel, and I absolutely love italian opera. To mix the soup: I enjoy punk! (It is not dead -- only passed out!) ...I am a fan of Hasta la Vista Social Club.

I enjoy visiting a good restaurant, and dining with friends.
I love coffee, and like to make espresso. Red wine, british (or even better: scottish) ale.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Books. Love. Friends. Sex. Mac. Wine.
Gotta think the order still...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Would I pass the Turing test.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
@ home. Or at work. Unfortunately. Except at summertime I tend to be at my summer cottage.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have obsession for typography. Ok that is not very private but what did you expect? Go check my answers to OKC questions.
