My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
EDIT: Gluh this profile is old and that photo is old although I guess I still look like that so maybe I'm a vampire? Who knows?

UniMelb computer science, huge nerd, Oxford comma user (sometimes), left-wingish-a-bit sorta, and this list has no context to what it describes omg James why you do dis.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently part-way through a Bachelor's of Science. Computer Science, or, as I prefer to call it, Classy Science. Because programming. There's these things in programming called classes. It's funny, I promise.

Long-term goal is to get me some fancy letters behind my name and stuff, and shake those in the face of employers, taunting them until they decide to shower me in money. Or maybe academia? Not sure, but teaching/research would be cool. Mainly research, though. I couldn't teach myself out of a paper bag.

Short-term goal is to get out of bed. I am bad at getting out of bed. This is not my fault, as bed is comfy, and the world is kinda non-comfy, you know?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Maths and tech, though one might suppose that from the whole Computer Science thing. Just... don't ask me to fix a thing. I am bad at fixing things, and tend to break tech gear. Call it fate, call it karma.

Beyond that... Lewd jokes, dad jokes, but not lewd dad jokes because that'd be weird.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently, my accent. I don't know why, as I'm Australian born and raised, but some people think I'm English. What bollocks!

But probably also the glasses. Or the hair being all foofy.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: I don't read much! This is one of my greatest shames. I blame reddit.

Movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey is something I'll defend to my death. Recently saw Interstellar, though. Should you admit on dating sites that a film almost made you cry? No? Ah, shit.

Television: Hannibal unexpectedly captured my interest. Is that a red flag? Maybe. Homeland was a somewhat guilty pleasure, but it kinda got vapid. TLDR I'm a sucker for a good drama.

Music: The Correspondents are pretty awesome. Check 'em out. But yeah, anything that isn't, say, country death metal. LCD Soundsystem will forever hold some place in my heart, probably one of the inlet valves.

Food: I'll eat anything, but am more partial to Italian and pasta things. Mainly because I can cook it. Coffee is great. Coffee is also Italian. Coincidence? Nope, because I work part time in the Mob.

Webcomics: I warned you about stairs, bro.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Goals, bourbon, a keyboard, communication.

Let's assume the two remaining items are sex-related and have a good old chuckle or something about it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What to eat. Also how neat it would be to have a time machine and go back to ancient days and take over and rule the planet 5ever (which is 1 more than 4ever).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Watching House of Cards? Or similar. I need to catch up on Game of Thrones, actually, maybe that'll become my Friday thing.

If not mindlessly consuming entertainment, I'll be making pseudophillosopical tweets, or slaving away at a program or something. Or sleeping. Sleeping is great. You should try it, it comes highly recommended. By me, a career sleeper.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While I do shave quite regularly, I secretly dream of having a full, glorious moustache. And perhaps a goatee.

But not an evil goatee. A distinctly non-evil goatee. Probs needs a little sign saying "Neutral Good Goatee" above it.

Maybe the most private thing I'm actually willing to admit is that that was, in fact, a DnD reference.

You're cool cat who's up with all that.

Alternately, you're a human being. There aren't many frozen felines on OKC, really.
