My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
First off, let's just get something disclosed right out off the bat: http://i.imgur.com/5RSZ7Od.gif

Which is to say, hell-fucking-yes I'm a fan of Lano and Woodley.

I'm a Melbourne student who is far, far better looking in person than my photos would suggest.

Beyond that, huge nerd, Oxford comma user (sometimes), left-wingish-a-bit, and typically pragmatistic.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently part-way through a Bachelor's of Science. Computer Science, or, as I prefer to call it, Classy Science. Because programming. There's these things in programming called classes. It's funny, I promise.

Long-term goal is to get me some fancy letters behind my name and stuff, and shake those in the face of employers, taunting them until they decide to shower me in money. Or maybe academia? Not sure, but teaching/research would be cool. Mainly research, though. I couldn't teach myself out of a paper bag.

Short-term goal is to get out of bed. I am bad at getting out of bed.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Maths and tech, though one might suppose that from the whole Computer Science thing. Just... don't ask me to fix a thing. I am bad at fixing things, and tend to break tech gear. Call it fate, call it karma.

Beyond that... I'm trying to learn how to play the guitar. Emphasis on trying.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Apparently, my accent. I don't know why, as I'm Australian born and raised, but some people think I'm English. What bollocks!

But probably also the glasses.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I don't read much! This is one of my greatest shames. I blame reddit.

Movies: 2001: A Space Odyssey will forever hold a place in my heart. That said, it's pretty damn dry if you're not into heavy-thinking science fiction.

Television: Hannibal unexpectedly captured my interest. Is that a red flag? Maybe. Homeland is a somewhat guilty pleasure.

Music: My tastes tend to change, wobble, vary moment-to-moment. Electronica, some rockish stuff, house all tend to be good, even if mainstream. I maintain hipster cred in other ways. I also listen to Coldplay, Muse, and the Arctic Monkeys. Sue me? Sue me.

Currently, though, alt-J's An Awesome Wave has held my attention for ages. Daft Punk's album was grand but they can't do remixes to save themselves.

Also You Already Know by Arcade Fire is like crack cocaine. Just saying, that's all.

Food: I'll eat anything, but am more partial to Italian and pasta things. Mainly because I can cook it. Coffee is great. Coffee is also Italian. Coincidence? Nope, because I work part time in the Mob.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Goals.
Empathy.
My hands.
A keyboard.
Relationships.
Scientific method.

And, seventh: The bizarre joy that comes from sorting strings by pixel length.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Teleportation ethics, what the heck to do at the moment, things to do after acquiring a reliable means of time travel, and how awesome it would be to replace my legs with something better (like rockets).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Uuuuuuhhhh... Watching House of Cards? Wait, no, I don't watch HoC. Um. Playing poker. Yeah, poker, HoC, same diff close enough.

If not poker, I'll be making pseudophillosopical tweets. Or sleeping. Sleeping is fuckin' great. You should try it, it comes highly recommended.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
While I do shave quite regularly, I secretly dream of having a full, glorious moustache. And perhaps a goatee.

But not an evil goatee. A distinctly non-evil goatee. Probs needs a little sign saying "Neutral Good Goatee" above it.

Maybe the most private thing I'm actually willing to admit is that that was, in fact, a DnD reference.

Sexy model body-flaunt pose goes here. *Hwah.*
