My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit

Books: I like books. The Silver Brumby, Discworld, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, the Northern Lights series, Narnia. Harry Potter. I'll read anything by Philip K Dick, Fredrick Pohl, C S Lewis, Daphne Du Maurier, Neil Gaiman, Paulo Coelho, J D Salinger, Alfred Bester. I like the few I've read by Iain Banks and Herman Hesse. Also Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card, and some of his others. Just got into H.P. Lovecraft =D At the moment I'm re-reading The Cybergypsies by Indra Sinha.

Movies: Bladerunner, Barbarella, scifi. Films about music such as The Commitments and The Blues Brothers. Also things like The Virgin Suicides, and Jay and Silent Bob movies. Also films by Stanley Kubrick - 2001 is fantastic. Dark Star is also absolute class.

Music: I actually like most music. My favourite artists would be Depeche Mode, Simon & Garfunkel, The Rolling Stones and Tori Amos. I adore most new wave. I like bleepy music in most of its forms, I don't mind a small amount of drum'n'bass or house. Over the last year or so I've developed a love for Iron Maiden, Van Halen and Mozart. Amplifico and Amy MacDonald are my current new obsessions, and Country and Western should only appear in The Simpsons.

Food: I love food. I even like icky things like fresh spinach and sprouts. Mostly I like tuna, chicken, pasta and porridge. I often crave cake and apples. I don't like bloody meat - actually, most meat in the form of steaks or chops - or sweetcorn.
