My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was in 9 year relationship that ended 4 years ago. Although I'm not looking to rush into anything, I'm at a very stable and successful time in my career/life and would like the stability of a relationship at some point. I'm always looking for new friends, as well.
I'm an acupuncturist. I work in a very succesful group practice in the Shaw neighborhood. I'm doing well financially. I love what I do and my work is very important to me. But I also enjoy the finer things in life like theater, music concerts, museums, good food, good conversation, and travel. I'm a New York Times kind of a guy.
I enjoy discussing politics, but I find that it can also be divisive and polarizing. I'm definitely a Democrat, in my heart I'm pretty liberal, but I prefer politicians in both parties to be Centrist. They're the ones that get things done. Though I'm a Democrat, I'm Republican/libertarian friendly. I have some wonderful friends on the other side of the aisle.
I really love musicals and like traveling to NYC (my hometown) to see plays and such. I also love the great outdoors and would love to find some biking/hiking partners.
I'm well traveled and prefer those who place travel as a priority.
I'm Jewish, but not really that observant.
Anyway, enough about me..tell me about yourself!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Went on an Atlantis cruise in the Mediterranean this past summer. It was great. It was my second Atlantis cruise. Just got back from a weekend in Miami this past Monday, November 17, only to come back to this frigid DC weather. Womp womp. Methinks a trip to PR or Costa Rica is in order soon.
Recently saw The Death of Klinghoffer at the Metropolitan Opera and I'm still trying to process it. It was nothing like La Boheme!

Looking forward to the Emmylou Harris tribute concert at Constitution Hall in January. I'm a huge fan of hers.

Also Fleetwood Mac January 30th!

Oh and I love American Horror Story!!!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Humor. I really enjoy sarcasm (it's the New Yorker in me) However, sarcasm can be off-putting to some so I try to rein it in with strangers..but it will come out at some point! (I'm also good at sex. Just sayin')
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Well I am handsome and funny. I do have a strong personality, which some perceive as intense. Some people like that though.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sex, iPhone, good food, travel, good friends, culture. In no particular order. (of course water, oxygen, etc..)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Ways in which the Titanic tragedy could have been avoided. To save those poor souls and to save us from that Celine Dion song.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It used to be Fashion Police, but it will never be the same without Joan.
So now it's usually BHH.
