My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Howdy! I have spent more than half my life in Chicago. The other half I've spent in Manila. Somehow, I've managed to relate more to being in any city than either. Only thing I can't bear from living in the city are cars unnecessarily honking while I am riding my bike. Every time I do ANY public speaking, I like to open up with a chem joke.

I love teaching things to people, especially chemistry and poi. The chemistry I love to teach using metaphor. But what is poi you say? It's spinning fire. Cool enough, right?

So people have been haranguing me about how my description of poi is insufficient. So here's my favorite performance:
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Being a lovably carefree twenty year old who spends a lot of time at the gym to make up for the lot of time at the bottle. I also cook and study chemistry somewhere in there.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Dancing. Team sports. poi. Chemistry jokes. Cycling aimlessly. Not so improv ( i swear it's a thing, it's called British comedy).
If you ask nicely I can even make you thousand piece origami. Seriously, you have to ask very nicely.

I am particularly apt at describing instrument/instrumentalist relations akin to interpersonal relationships. You should try it, they are quite similar.

I can bowl better than your average person, statistically speaking.

My favorite thing to do is to pretend to be the host while at a party.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love puns... As in, LOVE puns.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Ask me for specifics, but there are just too many things to like.

Here's a tidbit:
I'm currently busy warning people about the movie Ruby Sparks.
I love 500 days of summer and how it shows how some guys will never learn (me included).
I can't stop dancing to caravan palace and Carly Rae (no regrets).
World War II documentaries are my jam.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My hands (seriously, have you thought at how amazing your life is with hands?)
My music
Full Moons
Pretty faces
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How people interact with each other. Isn't it amazing watching how social norms and expectations get people to react in different ways about certain situations? Generally I'm fascinated more by how things fit into their pasts than how they act.

How the hell do the twenty somethings of this age manage to not implode with all the dissonances that exist in the current dating milieu;
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with my friends and laughing the night away...

or in pajamas while watching Korean dramas and eating ramen. Trust me, it's awesome
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I only got serious about fitness after watching Crazy, Stupid, Love
