I think a couple can be total opposites and not have hardly anything in common, one can be a health junkie while the other a junk food junkie. One can be a professional, the other unemployed or a waitress in a small family owned diner. Both may have different beliefs, different likes and dislikes, and difference in opinions but still be the best of friends, the best lovers, and even soul mates. So when someone says "we have/don't have a lot in common" I take that with a grain of salt. Because I believe it's not only about what you have in common but it's about the differences you're willing to accept and deal with. It's the differences that makes a person unique and who they are. For me, if I'm physically attracted I look at how we connect on an emotional level, how someone makes me feel, the things they say and do, as well as the things they don't. It's not about how much someone is like myself, it's about how different they are from anyone else. It's the little things that a person brings to my spirit that mean the most. I don't go on a date to interview a person just to put check marks by my questions. I go on a date to see if we connect or if there's energy vibes there and I simply ask questions because I'm interested in you and who you are and for conversation. Having things in common is only a bonus but some of the best relationships are those that you would think would never work because the couple are so different. Opposites do attract and that's a fact. Real love comes without reason. It's a feeling that someone possesses upon you. It just is.... If you have a reason for loving someone, you don't really love them, you like them. If you have reasons for loving someone, then you are using your mind, but if you love someone for no reason, then you are using your heart... Maybe some people don't find they're perfect match because they don't give the not so perfect a chance. Maybe they're looking for all the wrong reasons. Just my own little drawn out opinion for those that are seeking commonalities.
My hobbies are playing with my little girl, spending time in the kitchen, and of course shopping. I like fishing, watching football and nascar, taking walks, going for rides to no where, and snuggling on the sofa to watch a movie. I'ld like to see the Grand Canyon and visit New York. I've always thought it would be romantic to visit Venice. I'ld like to find a job that I actually enjoy. My favorite food is spaghetti. I like all music but I'm a country girl so I listen to more country. I do have a southern drawl in my accent. I love to take photos of things. My favorite shows are Andy Griffith, It's Always Sunny in Philidephia, and King of Queens. I'm down to earth, out going, good hearted and love to joke and play. I'm also sentimental and cry during a touching or sad movie. I tend to think of others first. I love children and animals. I'm somewhat independent meaning I'm not afraid to be alone and don't need anyone and although I'm not that financially secure I don't expect anyone to take care of me, my issues are my own. I can also become dependent meaning if I'm in a relationship I depend on him to be there and stand by me and do the things a man does for his woman whether it be physically, mentally, or machanically. I'm complicated, I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best. I've wasted a majority of my life on dishonest cheaters with no clue what relationship means. who think love is nothing more than a hill of beans, then didn't know what they had till it was gone. I'm a real woman and I want a real man. I'm not a one in a million kind of girl, I'm a once in a lifetime kind of woman. Well fellas that's me in a nut shell.
