I am conservative, shy, and loving.

My Self-Summary

Well, my profile is a bit outdated so I decided I might as well update it. I'm still quite the dork, but I've mostly moved on from loving anime. I can still appreciate it for its artistic qualities and enthralling plot-lines, however the over-blown popularity it's created for itself has made it more into a fad than something worthwhile now-a-days, and I'm just not interested in that.

I'm in college, and have been accepted to BYU Idaho in the fall. I am not mormon, a latter-day saint, or anything even closely resembling it. However I've somehow gotten myself into the situation of 95% of my closest friends are mormon. I decided it'd be in my best interest to go to school somewhere I'd be happy.

I'm studying nursing, however I think I may be more interested in teaching it than anything. I'm still on the fence about the long-term goals. As a hobby I draw (almost in all my free time, if I'm not reading). Here is an example: http://oekaki.ponju.com/pigletkaki/pictures/3929.png This was only a quick doodle

I'm in love with musicals. I'm not specifically interested in the theatre, but if I were to name my top 10 favorite movies, most likely 8 of them would be a musical. But surprisingly not too many are love stories. My all-time favorite movie would have to be Rocky Horror. If you've never heard the Time Warp, for shame.

As far as religion goes, I consider myself Christian, but I try not to let myself get wrapped up in tiny details. I live by two rules: God is real. Be good and honest in my life. So far it's worked outstandingly well. I'm very open to listening to your views on religion, but if you can't seem to set aside that it is my choice what to do with my life and I may not agree with your opinion, I'm sorry. I'll do my best to be polite, but I do like a deep, insightful discussion.

Which brings me to my next point. Being an avid reader I tend to think. I'm not super-opinionated, however I love prodding people's minds. I may ask some hard questions that require a lot of thought, which may reveal more about yourself than you're ready for. Please know I am not trying to argue or be mean to you. I just like hearing people talk about their morals and opinions if they can be reasonable about presenting it to me.

Finally, if I'm quiet, 90% of the time its not a bad thing. I've always been every individualistic and like to mull things over, often insequential things. I'd like to travel the country one day, perhaps backpacking as money is merely a material posession that isn't really needed for happiness. But my schooling comes first. But point is I like to go see new things, and I'm not clingy. In fact, going out once or twice a week sometimes seems like a lot in my busy life-style. So be prepared for someone who's not going to call you every hour, or sometimes not even every day. But it's never anything personal.

What I’m doing with my life

At the community college. Will be in Idaho this fall, and will be back in december. I attend Idaho in the spring/fall track, so my "summer" break in december-april.

I’m really good at

drawing/picking out little details no one really cares about (like spelling)

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm a girl. I hope they notice that anyway.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

classic books, tim burton films, wide variety of music (no country/rap), and I'm a picky eater ^^; (mostly in favor of things really unhealthy for me)

The six things I could never do without

pencils, sketchbooks, books, my dog, food, sleep

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I should be doing instead of sitting around

On a typical Friday night I am

calling up friends and freaking over deadlines

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have a very wild imagination

You should message me if

you can be extremely patient with me
