Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
**Pardon my dust, profile subject to change**
*Disclaimer* I'm the father of a wonderful 9 year old boy, who I
have on the weekends. He means the world to me...so you must at
least like kids a little, though I'm not looking for a new mommy
for him, I'm here for companionship for me. Mostly here to meet new
friends before a "significant other." This is because I am
approaching with caution. I'm a firm believer of "friends first."
So maybe, hopefully someday, I can genuinely fall in love
I'm a geek, and proud of it. I'm into sci-fi, fantasy, games, both
tabletop and video. Though I enjoy some outdoors activities, I'm
honestly more of a fan of staying in, relaxing, and doing the kinds
of things that make you sit and think. Converstation, competition,
reflection. I've got a sense of humor and I prefer to be surrounded
by the same. On that note I'm viewed as intelligent by my peers
(thanks peers!) and would like to meet people viewed in the same
regard...it's also a big turn on. (Talk nerdy to me)
Being kind of shy (introverted) and (kind of) new to all of this,
if you see I looked at your profile and didn't say anything, it's
not because I'm a creeper, I just don't know what to say anymore.
I've apperently been off the horse for too long. Once I get to know
you, though, I can chat for HOURS. Sorry this isn't longer...but I
had been married for almost six years and am kind of new to the
whole aspect of "dating" ...so I may not say anything when I look
at your profile, doesn't mean I don't want to, I probably did rate
your profile though. If I interest you. rate back!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Currently working on getting back on my feet after a rough patch.
Working off some debts and climbing out of a funk. Getting used to
a new life. Currently working full time as a supervisor for a team
of tech support agents for a cable company, I'm salary...so my
spare time can sometimes be sparse. I can also be seen once a month
performing in a Rocky Horror shadow cast.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Watching/reading/understanding people. Making them laugh with quick
wit. Intelligent conversation, problem solving, strategy, games,
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've heard alot about my eyes over the years, all good...
Also I love to laugh, I've embarrased people with my laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm not going to type a long list, but...
I'm mostly into sci-fi and fantasy, most recently..
Hitchiker's guide, The zombie survival guide, Vamped,
I'll generally watch anything once I get pulled in, but I'm quick
to lean torwards comedy, horror, indy, musicals (mostly the darker
ones), and of course sci/fantasy...
Most recently I set some time aside to see some awful movies riffed
live by the people that did MST3K.
TV: I don't watch alot of it unless I find myself hooked on a
series, Currently hooked on QI XL and Doctor Who. Started watching
the IT crowd again, also a big Firefly fan. Recently finished, and
loved, Black books, Green wing, Spaced, Dead like Me...on that
note, I need to catch up on the Walking Dead and Being Human. I
know there is plenty for me to start too, but I get sucked into web
series all the time.
Music: I love songs that tell a story, and will listen to anything
understandable or with a good beat. I love the 80's. I'll tend to
shy away from country. Used to denounce a lot of rap and some hip
hop, but I found some writers that I can really appreciate.
Lately addicted to...Album: Cardboard Castles. Artist: Watsky
Food: I'm a bit of a "foodie" but I'm still kinda picky, shying
away from some fruits and veggies, but apt to try nearly anything
at least once. I love to try cooking new things and bake a mean
batch of dark chocolate brownies. When I get my hands on a proper
kitchen again, I'm gonna go nuts!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
life, death, the future, time travel (obviously), existence, the
universe, a zombie apocalypse, I could get lost in thought forever,
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Home with my boy, playing a game or watching tv.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If your tired of the games people can play and are honest and if
you have any interest at all! I'd love to meet some new friends,
maybe more..By the way...do any girls ever contact guys, or is it
only socially acceptable for the guy to make the first move? By all
means let me know!
