My self-summary
Hi, I'm Brian!

Disclaimer: I'm much more insteresting than my profile makes me seem. It's easier to be who I am, than tell you.

Depending on the day, I'm an INFP or INFJ. And I recently took the True Colors test for work. If you have heard of that I'm a green analytical type with a heavy influence of blue as well. It describes me pretty well of you wanted to Google it.

I'm some sort of combination of nerdy, athletic, intelligent, ambitious, open-minded, accepting, and caring. Supporting happiness is important to me (gay rights, feminism, racial equality, sex positivity, etc. Can we just sum it up to equality? I support equality and love everywhere).

I love my friends, I love my family, and they are the most important part of my life. I love where I am in life too. While being single has been fun, I'd also love to find someone who can make what I do have even better.

I'd love to meet someone who can both challenge me to try new things and has enough similarities to enjoy the lazy nights at home too.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in Human Resources for a medical company. It's been great experience and I'm lucky to have a job that doesn't drive me crazy.

In the future hopefully I'll add a masters degree in there and maybe own my own business someday?

Outside of work I've been playing in a soccer and basketball league at least once a week each. I've recently attempted hot yoga too and I might have to try some rock climbing soon. Of course some nights I'm just spending time catching up on TV shows I missed or playing some video games or card games with friends. I can make the best out of any scenario.

And in the future I plan to do a whole lot more traveling. Let's talk about this so I can figure out where to go next!
I’m really good at
Picking up and learning new things
Adapting to new situations/people
Having fun
Athletic activities
Tequila shots! ;)
Sports trivia and fantasy sports
Browsing Netflix without actually picking anything to watch

According to the Strength's Finder test my best strengths are...

Adaptability, empathy, positivity, relator, and... something else. Forgetfulness obviously.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably the overwhelming aura of awesome. This most likely comes from one of my friends standing next to me.

On the right day, in the right light it might be my eyes because they can occasionally go from brown to orange. So that is nifty.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These could all go on forever, so I'll just go with what I've read, seen, listened too, eaten, etc. most recently and whatever else jumps to my head.

A Song of Fire and Ice (finished through book three!), Horns, The Kingkiller Chronicles, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, Wool, Choke, Locke and Key, American Gods, Ender's Game, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Road, The Gunslinger, Freakanomics

Pacific Rim, Gravity, Fast and Furious 6 (Guilty pleasure), Star Wars, Almost Famous, Big Trouble in Little China, Road House, Garden State, Up, The Dark Knight, Anchorman, Bridesmaids

Derek (This is a must see... Heart warming and hilarious. Find it on Netflix!), Parks and Rec, Louie, Arrested Development, LOST, Modern Family, Psych.

Currently I can't seem to get away from Kendrick Lamar and J Cole. With a splash of Brand New in between it all. Needless yo say... I love music but my mood constantly changes. My other favorites off the top of my head would be...

Mumford and Sons, Muse, Arcade Fire, Justin Timberlake, Lumineers, Kid Cudi, Outkast, Temper Trap, Miles Davis, Jimi Hendrix, My Chemical Romance, Miles Davis, Imagine Dragons, Silversun Pickups, Coldplay, Neon Trees, Middle Class Rut, Jane's Addiction, Alt-J, Alkaline Trio, Katy Perry (guilty pleasures on the last two), Fun, Walk the Moon, and many more I'm surely forgetting. You should absolutely tell me more bands to check out!

Food: Spicy is always great! Mexican is probably my go to favorite though I'm open to a lot. I'm definitely supportive of the vegan/vegetarian life style too. Although I don't practice it myself I'd tag along for a vegan calzone if it is offered :)
The six things I could never do without
This is the complete list obviously.

IPAs/A good wine
My bed and a ton of blankets
Seahawks football
My bamboo plant, Gregory.
Insert witty answer here.

And of course women! I'll admit the world would fall apart without you all. But I'll just assume that is a default answer for everyone of course.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to rule the world and whether it's worth putting in the effort for all the responsibility it will include.

I also love thinking about travel, the universe, music, art, science, philosophy, etc.
On a typical Friday night I am
Enjoying that I don't have to work on Saturday! Trying to go out in downtown Seattle is a popular choice, though sometimes just relaxing with some good drinks, a pizza, and having an impromptu movie marathon is also super great.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I own a snuggie. And it's awesome.

I think the world could use a more positive outlook on sex. A lot of the time I like talking about or thinking about sex and I think that's a perfectly fine thing. It took me awhile to understand the concept of a "sex positive" movement, but I think I finally get it and support it. Just be safe people ;)
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 21–30
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You absolutely want to. I'll generally reply to any message with a little effort.

Or if you are looking for an smart and ambitious man who can act like a gentleman while on an amazing date? Well I can handle that quite well too ;)

Or if you think I sound interesting! If I viewed your profile and didn't send a message, it may just be that I wasn't sure how to lead it off right away. I know how important those first impressions can be and prefer to come back later with a proper ice breaker then spam you with a "how r u?" message. But feel free to say hi if you want to get something started before I sweep you off your feet with some poetic first message, right? ;)
