I am hardworking, spontaneous, and easy going.

My Self-Summary

Oh, what to put here... this is, after all, my 'bait'... hmmmm... Well I am an electrician, like to travel and do different things, spend as much time as possible with my kids (2 boys...) and try to remember to keep the sunny side up. I am a pilot and enjoy flying but dont get to do it as much as I would like... Just mostly to Seattle for Seahawks games and picking up parts for work. I like being on the water... but my boat has been in dry-dock for a year now... I have a pile of parts that one day will be a 1929 Ford Model A Sedan Delivery Rat Rod... I think mostly I am trying to get caught up on life (along with everything else....) BUT dont get the impression that I never finish what I start (seems easy to get that impression reading this I know..) I just have a lot of things going!

What I’m doing with my life

Finish all the projects I have started for myself. Trying to divide my time between my stuff, my business, and my boys... They are a bit young to be included in everything, but I suspect we are going to have a blast in the years to come.

I am also trying to figure out a life-plan that is going to get me out to see the world, as I am not doing so well yet on that subject. But my brand of travel is to show up with a bag and a hotel room for the first night and see where the wind blows me. So I think it is funny that I want a plan to go to Europe or wherever and spend 3-4 weeks with no plan.... I know I dont get me either...

I’m really good at

Problem solving, or troubleshooting I guess... I think that comes from the ability to think logically and methodicially. Sometimes you find the answer to the question you are trying to solve based on what you do not know and not what you know, if that makes any sense.

Which makes me good at helping others with their issues and problems, but probably not suited to help myself!! Well, maybe a little...

The first things people usually notice about me

I dont really know... I would have to ask them...

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Read travel books mostly, as I havent had time to do much real traveling. I will get on a kick and read history textbooks... And thank you I dont have any problems sleeping at night (now that you know my cure for insomnia...)

I like all kinds of movies, mostly ones with a point that make you think about it long after they are over. Horror movies are okay I guess... perhaps just not my thing. I guess anything from the Shawshank Redemption to The Last Tango in Paris...

I like all music from 90's gangsta rap to Credence to Bach... I do seem to find myself mostly listening to Reckless Kelly and Rob Thomas recently (I think for the most part it is Reckless Kelly, and Rob Thomas comes next on my ipod and I dont realize it until 10 songs in...)

Food, well I dont like seafood, but everything else I am open to... EXCEPT for whiskey and Garlic Fries at Qwest Field during football games... NEVER AGAIN!!! Yep I admit it, peer pressure is alive and well, even in my thirties! haha!

The six things I could never do without

This is a hard one to answer, cause if you say 'oh my phone' you're being shallow or if you say 'my kids' then you are just self righteous and are in a way putting down the shallow people... So here is to not winning...

1: My kids and family
2: My Friends
3: The ability to make a living
4: The ability to travel
5: My airplane and pilots license
6: My Mac and iPhone

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Traveling... and what a jerk Rick Steves is for getting paid to travel the world and make money doing it.... hehe

Seriously, got a map of the world framed in my office with very few pins in it... and I am going to be hell bent on changing that in the near future.

I think about how the world has gone so wrong and how I would fix it if I were king for a day (well my official official plan actually takes about 6 months to implement.... so more than a day is required!)

And thinking about random crap that I am either unqualified for or stuff that has no bearing on my life directly (like which nuclear reactor design is better (for details on my answer ask me about my 6 month plan mentioned above) clear down to how much wood could a wood chuck chuck if a wood chuck could chuck wood....)

On a typical Friday night I am

Lately, on my computer well, ummm, working.... hehe

Hanging out with my kids... They are only this young once... you gotta pay attention now because tomorrow they are going to be pouring water in the vodka bottles and stealing the car keys...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

Not now... maybe later.
