My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a maker and a musician. My house is continually overwhelmed by musical instruments and the projects on which I am currently working. While I typically have too many projects going at once, I do actually finish most projects that I start.

As a child I learned to play violin. Sadly, my skills have waned in that area. I still play on occasion, but definitely not at the level I used to. These days my music is focused more on guitar and eletronic music production.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am fortunate enough to have a good paying day job that I actually enjoy. I am the cofounder of a small, experimental web startup. I get to invent really cool new web technology. Much of the code that I write is stuff that I actually want to use for my own projects -- which is very convenient.

I also have a band that produces Industrial rock and dance music. We have been together about 2 years and have been working pretty consistently to put together a release. There has been a lot of experimentation and numerous abandon tracks, but we are finally getting to the point where the music we are working on is coming easily and is worth sharing.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fundamentally I am good at problem solving. This is problem the most important skill in making things. You start with a vision of what you want to make, and then you just solve problems. Once there are no more problems left, you have the thing you envisioned.

I was getting pretty good at indoor rock climbing, but then my climbing partner got RSI. So if you'd like to climb regularly at LVAC/LPAC, or have a car and can shuttle me to VE, that would be epic.

I am, unfortunately, a member of fiction readers anonymous. Once I start a book, I can't put it down until I am done, even if that means staying up all night. Even if it is really bad. I once read this horrible romance novel, The Beauty and the Beastly Rancher. It was so bad I threw it across the room half way through. And then I went over, picked it up, and finished reading it.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. sleep -- I smurfing love sleep.
2. goth girls -- they're so pretty!
3. making stuff
4.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How to attract more people into my life that are excited about participation and creation.

When I throw a party, it's always a themed costume party. Often times one that opens the door to additional creativity. We've had parties that ended up with science experiments and lessons on how to solder copper pipes. And, of course, plenty of food, drinks, and dancing.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Learning stuff. Making stuff. Writing music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've seen most of my friends naked. Mostly by design, though sometimes by happenstance. For example, if you are house sitting at the house has a large sauna -- of course everyone should come over and hang out naked in the sauna.

I also started an unground, invite-only amateur burlesque/boylesque night. That has traditionally ended with a large game of Strip Cards Against Humanity.

I'm pondering how to take things to the next level.
