Unlike a lot of people on here, I'm not particularly outdoorsy or athletic. I don't ski (any more), run marathons, hike mountains, or spend my weekends on a bike or surfboard. I'm not going to say I'm as comfortable in a tent as I am in London, because I like London a LOT more than any tent I've ever been in. My favorite exercise is walking around a/the city, especially if it involves coffee before or after, and possibly a detour to browse in a bookstore.
Then again, I'm not boring. I've gone skydiving, monitored polls on Election Day, and volunteered on an archaeological dig. I make horrible puns at the drop of a hat. Right now I'm transcribing roughly 100 WWII-era love letters from a census worker to his future wife (they're spectacular -- he would have OWNED online dating), and I just decided to sign up for NaNoWriMo.
I'm basically a combination of West Coast quirk and East Coast snark, with a little bit of earnest squishy center from my childhood. I spent the first third of my life in the suburban Midwest, spent the next third in New England, and moved to SF at the peak of the first dot-com boom. And SF is where I hope to stay. I might not be able to get really good pizza here, but I never have to see snow again unless I go looking for it.
