Hello! A little about me: I'm a strong optimist with a positive outlook and a belief in self improvement. I have an active mind full of ideas and aspirations. I also have a practical and pragmatic side that keeps my feet on the ground. I have an odd, sometimes malevolent attitude to fun, but I can laugh at myself! I'm determined, implacable and just slightly reckless. Often the devil's advocate I fancy myself a man for all seasons and The King Of Wishful Thinking. For the most part however I'm more mild mannered than Clark Kent.

I feel the adjective 'sporty' when used by women of men has connotations that go beyound my understanding suffice to say I would descibe myself as the running, cycling, fencing type and not the footballing, rugby, criketing type. I do play well with others. I've a Geek streak, but it only tends to manifest itself as a slight stationery fetish. I enjoy reading books about dragons, lasers and fighting sails. I don't really listen to music so much as watch it, which is why I feel it safer to have Radio4 on in the car. I Indubitable think far to much about... well everything really which makes me sound authoritative and feel emotional about even the smallest things. I can hide that last bit quite well.

I like meeting new places and seeing new people. Interesting travel and far-flung conversation are two things I enjoy most in life. I'm a keen and fortunate observer of the slice of the universe that surrounds me, I would like to find a smart, outgoing, thoughtful and occasionally nefarious girl to share and enjoy it all with. And maybe to fight Nazies with on the moon as well.
