My self-summary
I'm not really sure what other guys put in this section, but I'm sure that more than a few try and balance being active, loving sports, and being "nerdy", since that's in this season, it seems. Or just manly men who love sportsing, trucks, and the outdoors.

But I'm not really trying to be anything. Just myself. I like video games, reading, and watching shows/movies because they tell a story. And sometimes just gaming because it's fun...
I enjoy tabletop and board games if I enjoy the people I'm playing with. My book/movies section shows this in decent depth.
I have to stay at least decently fit for my job, but I've recently taken that to the next level by trying to stay fit for myself. Eating better, working out more, that sort of thing. It is beach season, after all.
My job involves firearms, and I've also taken that into my personal life.
My job also involves a lot of down time near a computer. I've taken it upon myself to use the Internet to learn how to cook. I'm not a professional chef by any means, but I've become a pretty damn good cook. Always looking to learn new things, though.

But does that fill what this section is meant for? I'm an INTJ, dislike crowds, can't back up into a parking space to save my life, sarcastic humor, good with comedic timing, love science and history, love science fiction.
Let's talk about things.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently doing a job that doesn't include my dream at all, but is just a means to an end.

The idea of doing a job that I maybe partially can tolerate for 20+ years, retire, then do nearly nothing, does not appeal to me.
I want to make changes. I want to make science fiction a reality. I have a mind made for bringing forth the future. I just have to gain the raw knowledge to do so. For Science, you monster.
Or maybe that's pretentious of me... I just want to do science things.
I’m really good at
Thinking. Reading. Liking good movies and games. Knowing about random things.
Solving crimes and making up rhymes. Gaming. Making awesome RPG tabletop characters. Rolling dice. Cooking. Shooting things. Drinking tea. Getting intensely into a certain hobby, then putting it aside, and finding another. I enjoy gaining skills like that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I tend to have a blank expression on my face. That's just how it sits. Please stop asking me to smile, or asking if I'm OK.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just skip this if you aren't actually curious.

Books, Dragons of Babel, The Osteomancer's Son, Hyena Eyes, The Forever War, Ringworld, Anything by Chuck Palahinuk, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchet, Heinlen, the Phantom Tollbooth, some Dean Koontz, namely his Odd books. some Star Wars books, A lot by King and Crichton. and many others.
Of course I love Dr. Seuss.

I think that Catcher In The Rye is just a teen angst book that was published for a blanket audience, just like Twilight was.

Currently incredibly obsessed with the works of H.P. Lovecraft. Also, I've been reading through the classics of military sci fi. Armor, The Forever War, Old Man's War, Starship Troopers, and other related books.

Comics include Batman Knightfall, Batman: Court Of Owls, Hush, Dark Knight Returns, Long Halloween, most Batman stuff, really. Superman: Red Son. Wanted. The Shadow. Secret Six. JLA. Marvel 1602. Marvel Zombies. Cable/Deadpool. Classic Spider-Man. And others.

Food. I'm a carnivore, but a smart, healthy, one.
The six things I could never do without
My brain. It keeps me occupied, and alive.
Pizza. It's delicious.
Pants. I wear them always, at least when outside.
Some form of multitool. Like a sonic screwdriver, but real.
ELO. They're my band for any occasion.
Batman. He's the God Damned Batman.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Science things to do. Guns I want. Games I want to play, or have played. A good recipe. The Universe.
A lot, really. It all depends on everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
I work every other weekend, so most Fridays are spent doing whatever I normally do in the 3-4 hours between getting off work, and bed. Cooking dinner, then eating dinner, then reading/gaming/tv.

On my actual Fridays, sometimes movies with friends, others getting to bed early (since I worked a lot, and am sleepy), then an early start to go shooting or hiking.
Or just being lazy. Time enjoyed relaxing is not time wasted.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I honestly dislike The Big Bang Theory. It's just a SitCom, has the same plot 90% of the time, and I don't find most of the laugh track inducing jokes to be funny, even though I'm most likely more into the general nerdiness than half the people who watch it.

I know I'm doing myself no favors there...
