My self-summary
If you're the kind of person who likes hugs, discovering new places, going to the cinema, watching comedies and sci-fi, and enjoys inanely entertaining conversations until 2 in the morning, then we might just get along great.

I love simplicity in things. I believe that people who are passionate about their interests are awesome, and that geeking out over awesome shit is fantastic.

The things I do generally revolve around my love of films, reddit, retro stuff from the 80s and 90s, science/technology and spending time with my close friends. I'm British, I unashamedly like Disney, hate clowns, and have an odd childhood fascination with setting things on fire when armed with a magnifying glass. I'm also a little bit awesome.
What I’m doing with my life
In March I decided to leave my life in England and move all the way here to Canada to start a new adventure.

I've just started to settle in but still finding my way around and trying not to get confused by which direction cars are coming from (why is everyone driving on the wrong side of the road?!). I apparently also manage to confuse everybody else by constantly using words that I wasn't even aware are uniquely British.
I’m really good at
walking into things, geeking out and not taking myself too seriously.

I'm also good at not dying. According to friends, when you're as clumsy as I am then it's quite an achievement.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm corporeal and am not being hunted by velociraptors (as far as they can tell). Also that I wear a calculator watch because calculator watches are cool.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I've been known to be a fan of Star Trek (all of them), Stargate (again, all of them), Doctor Who, TMNT, Archer, American Dad, The Big Bang Theory, Bob's Burgers, Community, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, Sherlock, South Park, Top Gear, True Blood, Game of Thrones, Firefly, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Battlestar Galactica, Caprica, Coupling, Quantum Leap, Sliders, Buffy, Eureka, Eerie Indiana, Friends, The Inbetweeners, Look Around You, Smallville, Journeyman, Futurama, Farscape, Red Dwarf, Spaced, Torchwood, Invader Zim, Spartacus and The Outer Limits.

That should give you a good idea of the kind of movies I like too. In particular, my favourite movie is easily Back to the Future and I'm a huge fan of Pixar.

Huge superhero fan here too. And whilst I enjoy both, I stick by my view that DC is better than Marvel.

Also, for the record;

- are not emotional sissy boys
- do not attend High School
The six things I could never do without
1) My awesome friends of awesomeness
2) My iPhone, iPad, iMac etc (It's not like you have to love Apple but being brutally honest if you vocally hate them then we probably won't get on)
7) Stimulating (and stimulatingly random) conversations
23) My imagination (most things play out like a cartoon in there)
E) Chocolate (oh my god if only you knew how much...)
6) My ability to count.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
new, fun and interesting ways to make people lose 'The Game'.
On a typical Friday night I am
being British. And further exploring everything that Canada has to offer.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was asking a girl out once and in the process of doing so, I accidentally called her "Batman". :/
