I am blank, blank, and blank blank.

My Self-Summary

I recently moved to Colorado from Detroit via Atlanta, GA. It's a long story, but I blame the (*&(*#$^!@!) economy. I'm living/working in Pueblo, but prefer to date people in or near Denver Metro, where I eventually hope to be. Seeking fellow travelers, intellectuals, artists, musicians, and all around interesting people to show me the town and teach me something new.

I'm wicked smart (and no, I'm not from Boston). Adventurous. Loyal. Hilarious. Quirky. Resilient. Kind. Giving. Ambitious. Flexible. HONEST. I have an infectious laugh and tend to be a little mischievous. I love my friends and family more than anything, but am missing close relationships in Colorado.

I love jazz. Coltrane to Mingus to Nina Simone and on and on. Music moves me in so many ways. I like to dance barefoot in my living room, which is also my kitchen. If you can teach me the Paso Doble, I will teach you how to make pasta. I can cook a meal like you won't believe. I can dance and cook at the same time. Then when you think the meal is complete, I'll bring you the best cup of espresso. It's an art - and one of my smaller missions in life: coffee perfection.

I'm looking for a manly-man, who thinks enough about himself to know what he wants, but also thinks about others and has compassion. Someone who can dance and loves it (or, is at least willing to dance at weddings and is not afraid to look silly). Someone who has the courage to be honest when it's difficult and when it's easy. A thinker. An independent soul. A coffee drinker. Someone who is not superficial, but is active. Someone who appreciates that I like getting muddy, and I like wearing heels and a skirt (if you can create a scenario where this happens simultaneously, I'm game). If you embrace my imperfections, I'll embrace yours.

If you bike, kayak, hike, do yoga, and ski - you rule (if you do all these things at the same time, you are a stunt man and that's hot). I find men who are interested in a healthy lifestyle and committed to personal, physical, spiritual growth very appealing.

What I’m doing with my life

Working as a lawyer fighting for your rights. Trying to figure it all out. Playing my guitar. Learning to play the harmonica with youtube videos. Riding my bike around and dancing in the rain. Practicing yoga, which I love so much.

What I'd really like to do is go for a hike in Colorado. Care to take me up a mountain?

I’m really good at

Making up songs on the fly about stupid things.
Back bends.
Making food.
Being a friend.
Standing on one leg.
Making jewelry.
Making big bonfires.
Taking pictures.
Walking in heels.

The first things people usually notice about me

That I look a lot younger than I actually am. Yesterday I was asked for my ID to go to an R rated movie. Seriously?

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Everything changes, but this is what comes to mind right now:

Book: Margaret Atwood - The Blind Assassin.
Movie: Murder on a Sunday Morning.
Food: Crepe with nutella, vanilla bean ice cream and caramelized banana.
Music: Jeff Buckley.

The six things I could never do without

Taking "things" literally:

My Powerbook
My bike
My yoga studio
Ipod or other music playing device
The ring my friends gave me when I turned 30
Coffee

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How I can live with grace, make an impact, meet new people, and learn to stand on my head.

Why my cat only chases his tail in the bathtub.

And, what do they put in Pirate's Booty anyway? Because that stuff is like crack. Mmm.

Dear Pirate's Booty, I love you. Best, Me.

Back to standing on my head: it would just be cool to be able to stand on my head anywhere. Times Square? Standing on my head. Top of mountain? On my head. Waiting in line for a roller coaster? Yep. On my head. Good thing I spent half of yoga class upside down today. Practice!

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably by myself because I don't know anyone here.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I have really cute feet.

You should message me if

You are awesome. Or aspire to be. Or you want to go for a hike.
