Anywho! That break-thingy: I gave Tucson and the University of Arizona MFA program a shot for a while, but I ultimately that venture didn't work out. So I went back to Orlando, writing freelance and enjoying that special, burgeoning culture that city had to offer: stifling homogeny and chain restaurants. After nearly two years, I'm back in Tallahassee, and there are a lot more police sirens blaring at night than I remember. Or are those migratory exotic birds, squawking at each other for a quick bump under the cover of the palmetto trees? Yeah, it's birds and not burglary. I want to sleep tonight. But seriously, I am very glad to be back.
I'm strange, a little shy, and you can't really shut me up in the miraculous event that I actually do start talking. Running is a lot of fun, but only in the avoiding-getting-mugged milieu. Coffee, coffee, and coffee are pretty grand. So is craft beer.
So how are you doing today?
