My self-summary
New York born, New Jersey bred, and happily back in the city since college. I’m a writer, a filmmaker, a student of improv comedy, a night owl, an idealist, and a pretty good cook. I have a strong sense of fair play, a great sense of direction and a terrible sense of time. I’m also never one to let anything get in the way of a good joke.
What I’m doing with my life
I just recently finished a feature length documentary about the ICEHOTEL in Sweden, I'm trying to up my game at the UCB, I'm working on a bunch of writing projects (plays, mostly, right now), I travel a fair amount, and I spend a whole lot of time going to the movies, to the theater, to museums and to concerts.
I’m really good at
conversing till the cows come home, bumping into things, serenading my cats, figuring stuff out.
The first things people usually notice about me
I just asked one of my improv coaches this question and she said the first things she noticed about me were that I had good manners and that I used my hands a lot when I spoke.

The six things I could never do without
Not including all the obvious stuff (i.e. love, companionship,
etc.): something to read; something to write with; music; movies; coffee; the Times crossword puzzle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My current project; my next project; my family and friends; Boswell & Johnson; how to be a better person; what makes any artistic endeavor good, bad, meaningful, kitschy, offensive, timeless, or world-changing; how I would rewrite movies that seriously disappointed me; finding game in improv; sex; whether my cats enjoy my singing voice; whether this profile will appeal to you, you brilliant, gorgeous creature
On a typical Friday night I am
doing the kinds of things I do every other night.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
A writer/comedian I recently met online just performed a ten minute set about our one and only date to a packed house in Chelsea. I wasn't there, but I heard it was hilarious.
