I am twisted, clever, and adorable.
My Self-Summary
trying this out here - I'll think of something suitably cute and
provoking fairly soon - get back to me and I promise to either
enchant you or enrage you.
you know, I read something recently...something to the effect
of...
"hold on and cherish the beauty that you can see, so that it can
protect you from the ugliness that may come at you later on in
life."
just thinking...maybe that's something I should do more.
a bit of an update here - folks in AZ might be wonderin why I'm
stalkin them...it's because there's a really good chance I might be
moving down there this fall. I'm still open to friends from other
places - but my troublemaking and mischief will be transferred to
the SW - hopefully.
What I’m doing with my life
working on getting my Masters in Game Programming and
Design....learning 5 languages while getting classical guitar
lessons and mixing samples which I both record and steal. I think
I've forgotten how to tie my shoes and no longer know the capital
of Montana.
I’m really good at
being the best neo anarchistic urban shaman/taoist alchemist that I
can be.
The first things people usually notice about me
it's either my pretty eyes or my schizophrenic llama.
oh - and I really look good in hats.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
too many to list - I'll get back to you when I can dump a few
million names in here....
you know...I just read this tedious rant about folks who say that
the above statement is a sort of cop out...and while my first
impulse is to say "Embrassez mon âne!" I guess I'll be diplomatic
and put a few things down here.
(I really do like a scary amount of media though...so be
warned.)
a few authors I've dug in the past - William Gibson, Bruce
Sterling, Neal Stephenson, Clive Barker, Robert Asprin, Francesca
Lia Block, Cecilia Tan, Neil Gaiman, Harlan Ellison, Umberto Eco,
Ayn Rand, Anais Nin, Thomas Roche, Joseph Campbell, Stephen King
(and "üngutu taku käihe!" to those who don't give this guy his
due...just because he's not the frickin flavor of the month!),
Orson Scott Card, J.R.R. Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, C.S. Lewis,
Issac Adamson, Kage Baker, Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams, Marion
Zimmer Bradley, Anne Rice, Norman Spinrad, Nicholson Baker, Jane
Linskold, Kij Johnson, Todd Grimson, Pauline Reage,Antoine de Saint
Exupéry and a whole lot more...
movies and TV shows I've gotten some measure of happiness from
-Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Gothic, Wolf Lake,
Forever Knight, most of the Star Trek series (yes, yes I AM a
geek....sheesh.) Kids in the Hall, Monty Python's Flying Circus,
old SNL (pre 90's), Doctor Who, The Young Ones, Farscape,
Battlestar Galactica (old & new), Firefly, Faulty Towers,
Smallville, Supernatural, Twilight Zone (old series),
etc...American Me, Beetlejuice, Clearcut, Cyborg, From Dusk Til
Dawn, Nemesis (not the ST movie), Lost Boys, Near Dark, Ginger

Hope), Lair of the White Worm, The Matrix, Brazil, Monty Python
& the Holy Grail, Time Bandits, 12 Monkeys, Pi, Ghost Dog,
Brotherhood of the Wolf, Versus, Hardboiled, A Better Tomorrow, (I
could fill at least a 100 pages of movies that I really
enjoyed....but I'll stop @ this point.) one last one...HAS to be
mentioned...The Unbearable Lightness of Being.
as far as music is concerned...Ambient, Blues, Big Beat, Classical,
Grunge, Alt Rock, Jazz, Tribal, Goa, Trance, Classic Rock, Punk,
Shoegazer, Goth, New Wave, Electro, Darkwave, Fusion, World, some
Metal, and just about anything else that catches my ear.
food? drink? I'm good with the exotic, tasty and non life
threatening variations of these things.
The six things I could never do without
SIX???? SIX???? Ye Gods....why SIX????
fine...fine....lessee...
1.my computer. I call it Boo Boo.
2.my insane and enormous media collection. it's not anywhere
enough.
3.gravity...it keeps me grounded, most of the time.
4.my friends...past, present and future (can't be brilliant without
folks to appreciate it)
5.Kirin Milk Tea....I want to give the biggest smooch to whoever
put this on the market.
6.I could say something profound or clever...but I really like my
furry white winged cat puppet. so nyah.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
puppies, kittens and cutting up watermelons with katanas?
On a typical Friday night I am
breathing air....and advancing various plans for world domination
and various evil bacon combinations.
I yodel too.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm starting my own southwestern UFO tortilla sex cult for the
holidays?
You should message me if
you know what?
hows this...message me if you want to talk to someone.
period.
make a connection...communicate...that sort of thing.
if you're not interested - cool. if you're a sheep and not a wolf -
cool. if I don't look like someone you can use and/or
manipulate...WONDERFUL.
so if you actually have courage and heart - then do it.
otherwise - don't waste my time.
