My self-summary
I'm a down to earth guy with a quirky sense of humor. I enjoy the simple things in life. I'm fond of indie rock and I try to catch as many live gigs as my time and wallet allow. I'm not really into clubs and the related gay scene. I'm a TV nerd/addict, I love great conversation and as you're about to read below, cinema is my life.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm Italian born and raised. From Sicily to be specific, aka the island at the bottom of the boot. I moved to London in 2012 after spending 5 years in Los Angeles where I studied filmmaking, got an MFA in screenwriting and worked in some production companies as a script reader and office assistant. I'm here to continue my path in script development and I'm hunting for the ideal gig in my field as I just quit my latest day job. But I keep working on my own writing as well. I also freelance as Film Editor for Candid Magazine. It's an unpaid gig but I get to attend press screenings, do interviews and write reviews and articles, so it's good experience and good fun.
I’m really good at
Empathize (I know, wanker… :P)
Discovering great talent in the various forms of arts I'm fond of (music, cinema, literature)
Cooking (decent for an Italian, trying to channel my mum but have a long way to go...)
Daydreaming (someone would call it silliness...)
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm extremely straightforward. No time for bullshit.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
These lists would be endless but I'll give a few samples:

BOOKS: The Great Gatsby, The Picture Of Dorian Gray, Great Expectations, The End of the affair, A home at the end of the world, Game Of Thrones, Never Let Me Go, Everything Matters...

FILMS: Drive, Blue Valentine, Donnie Darko, Mysterious Skin, Tree Of Life, A Single Man, Brick, Zodiac, The Reader, Boy A, Billy Elliot, Like Crazy....

TV SHOWS: Fringe, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, The Walking Dead, Game Of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, The Big C, Shameless (US), Homeland, The Good Wife, Supernatural, Parenthood, Community, Raising Hope, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Happy Endings,... ( UK Shows like Sherlock, Misfits, Skins, The Hour, The Fades, The Inbetweeners...) (Classic shows like The X Files, Lost, Six Feet Under, Friends and many more...)

MUSIC: Ryan Adams, Snow Patrol, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, The Killers, Keane, The Boxer Rebellion, Bright Eyes, Miles Kane, The Kooks, Nine Black Alps, Sam Forrest, White Rabbits...

FOOD: Eggplant Parmigiana (I'm Sicilian!), Risotto, Sushi...
The six things I could never do without
The people that matter in my life
Running (Hopefully a marathon one day!)
Cinema
Music
Literature
TV SHOWS (only scripted, no reality crap!)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Story ideas and a lot of stuff most people would consider mental masturbation :P My mind just always races and it's hard to stop.
On a typical Friday night I am
What is typical anymore? As you might have inferred from above I'd rather be in a movie theatre or at a concert than in a club. I'm fine getting a brew at the pub to accompany good conversation but I'm not interested in getting wasted for the sake of it. Buzzes I like, hangovers are lame.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Alex Turner is my #1 crush in the entire universe. If you don't know who he is, Google him. :P
I’m looking for
  • Guys who like guys
  • Ages 20–34
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You're someone who's not looking for a meaningless fling. First and foremost I'm looking to make new friends in London. Then, if a special connection develops it'd be awesome. The perfect start is great conversation. If we have nothing to talk about we're already done...
