My self-summary
This persona of pixels exists for my pleasure, and not yours. However, I'm not opposed to such byproducts.

I am a figment of your imagination, coaxed towards the sun from your memories, tilled in the garden of social constructs, fertilized by pop culture, watered with wishful thinking and harvested in your head. The seeds of my existence are complex and contradictory and even those who know me best are still kept guessing. I am not terribly original, or very unique, but I have a good time being quite the cliché.

Seriously, though, I've had this account since OK Cupid was created from TheSpark.com way too long ago. It has changed an awful lot over that time and right now I mainly use it to take tests, keep up with people I already know and occasionally engage in voyeuristic profile viewing. This has, on occasion resulted in the making of new friends. My dance card is pretty full right now, so please do not take it personally if I do not prioritize meeting up with new internet strangers.

Happily married to my lovely husband-man, and filling up our calendar with a gorgeous and intimidatingly intelligent girlfriend. Polyworld is kind of neat that way.

Three cats regard me as their servant, and they sometimes allow me to snuggle them in return for the food & shelter I provide.

I really enjoy laughter... at myself, at you, at the morbid, at the mundane. The thrill of a good joke, or a well-timed-retort is as delicious to me as chocolate.

From back in the day when OKC asked us to describe ourselves in 3 words:
I am empathetic, intellectual, and perverted.
What I’m doing with my life
Not enough & too much, all at the same time. When I'm not working I'm usually hanging out, watching movies or playing video games. I love a good book, but it takes a really compelling story & good writing to keep my attention. I listen to NPR more than any other person I know KUOW is the local station I pledge $ to... it's very often that the first words coming out of my mouth are "I recently heard on the radio..."

I work to live, not live to work, but I still care for the people I work with and enjoy helping people in pain in the limited capacity that I am able: Glorified receptionist.

Other than work, visiting the family and friends, volunteering...etc I like television more than I like to admit, but it is mostly the good stuff (IE: DR Who, Downton Abbey, Battlestar Galactica, Daily Show and Colbert. I still love PBSand netflix. I read on occasion, but mostly on the web or comic books

I've never been to Burning Man in BRC, but have been to the Northwest regional Critical Northwest formerly Critical Massive for the last few years and am excited to be working with some friends to organize a theme camp experience in the next year.
I’m really good at
I'm a really good listener, I like learning things, and hearing interesting stories and attempting to tell my own.
I'm usually good at keeping an open mind about things. The only viewpoint I wont accept is that "There's only one right way to see the world." I laugh a lot, and can find humor, or at least a bright outlook in nearly every situation. This sometimes gets me into trouble.
The first things people usually notice about me
I smile a lot, even at strangers.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Preacher graphic novel series The Kushiel series by Jacqueline Carey The Emperor Wears No Clothes by Frank Herer Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan

Rocky Horror, Happy Feet,Prairie Home Companion & The Vinyl Cafe... but most of all This American Life!!!!

Sushi, chocolate, BBQ anything

...and much more than I could list. But won't, because I find lists of media, food & music to be fairly mundane and pointless. I have much appreciation for a lot more, but if you really want to know, you'll find out.
The six things I could never do without
1Chocolate
2Eye-liner
3Fuzzy animals
4NPR
5Hitachi
6Indian Hemp
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Reality is an illusion, albeit a rather persistent one"
- Albert Einstein
On a typical Friday night I am
Staying home watching movies/chatting/visiting my folks/talking on the phone with my buds/out at a bar or show in Seattle/wrastling with my man/playing video games/board games/reading/doodling... typical... what's that word mean again?

*update: Trying to make it down to the Center for Sex Positive Culture AKA The Wet Spot in Seattle more often. Maybe I'll be there on a Friday, maybe we'll be home geeking out, or out & about with friends.

**updated update: My new favorite things are floating (sensory deprivation tanks) and hot yoga, which can be added to the list above.

***updated updated update: Been playing my hand at stand up comedy of the amateur variety, as well as dipping my toes into the pool of improv comedy on teams. The stage is my new mistress, and she is fickle.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like lingerie... not so much wearing it, but seeing people in it, or being admired in it... I like the way girls and guys look in lingerie. I've had a thing for guys in drag since I saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show at a very tender age.
I’m looking for
  • Guys and girls who like bi girls
  • Ages 25–35
  • Near me
  • For new friends
You should message me if
there's a chance you'll make me laugh with your message. I do like a good chuckle.
