My Self-Summary
I've been back in Seattle for about 2 years now (after a year and a
half in "the most dangerous city in the US" aka St. Louis) and I'm
really enjoying life. I love my job (social worker), have some
great friends, live in a beautiful city, finally have my own place,
and things are looking up. Now I'd just like to find a great guy to
share it all with. So don't be shy...say hi.
What I’m doing with my life
Well, I finished grad school about 2 years ago (MSW) and am now in
charge of a great LGBTQ youth HIV prevention program. I'm hella
lucky to work where I do and have pretty awesome co-workers. I'm
thinking of going back for a PhD in a few years, but I need a few
more years away from the classroom first. Feel free to talk to me
about anything social work/psch/public health related and I'll
probably totally geek out on it.
I’m really good at
...my job, listening to people, procrastinating, kissing, cuddling,
singing off tune, dancing [Janet Jackson] routines, laughing,
napping, spinning(group cycle) at 5:30am, celebrating Christmas
(its my birthday too!)

bills - student loans on a social worker's salary!, oppression and
anti-oppression work, nutrition and exercise, gender and sexuality,
cognitive behavioral therapy, my future, dancing, HIV prevention,
funny things people say, how I can make people smile (i know,
cheesy but its true)
On a typical Friday night I am
Is there a typical Friday? I could be helping youth at an event or
doing outreach, having dinner with friends, going to the gym,
chilling out at home, or maybe on a date if I'm lucky.
