Wow, this is lame. I'll fix it sometime, when I have absolutely nothing else to do.

I've been in a state of transition for some time. I was home with kids for several years, longer than I wanted to be, but I recently got back into a full-time job that I really like so far, and I'm still doing some editing and proofreading on the side. So things are looking up.

Having a sense of humor is very important to me. It helps people cope with life and if you don't have one, we probably wouldn't communicate very well.

I'm kind to children and animals (well, not my own so much). I stop to move turtles off the road. I enjoy participating in community theater, but it can be time-consuming, and I'm more of a singer than an actor, so I usually just do the one musical production each year. Generally I just have a line or two, but once I got to play the lead. And did I get any flowers? NOOooooo. So that's a hint . . . if you want to win my heart, be classy and make the effort to send a nice bouquet, or even a single carnation, the next time I'm in a show, even if I'm only in the chorus. ;)
Our next musical is Oklahoma (and I'm in the chorus). Should be fun.

Fighting inertia . . . and finally getting somewhere.

Well, I'm pretty sure that I'm good at more things than I can think of right now. Um . . . I'm a good speller? I'd better work on this question, as it should tie in with the whole question of what to do with my life. As I mentioned before, I have a sense of humor, maybe good, maybe just weird. I'm not bad-looking really, although I think attractiveness is a matter of personal preference. Okay, it's a start. I'll come back to this one later, maybe.

I think that depends on the other people, and what they're looking for . . . or at.

Oh, but I do get a lot of people who say I look like Susan Sarandon. I don't see it, and I'm not sure how to take it, since they generally can't remember her name, so they say, "Wow, you look like that lady in the 'Stepmom' movie!" Now, I know they don't mean Julia Roberts, and in that movie, Susan Sarandon's character is dying, and looks it. Hmmmm. Maybe I need more sleep.

I like almost everything, except for horror movies, most rap music, and organ meats, and especially any combination of those things. *Shudder*

Couldn't do without? Well, duh . . . water, food, oxygen, heat, shelter, some money. Would REALLY not WANT to do without? My computer, fast internet, books, music, a reliable vehicle, my family (most of them anyway). How about a LOT of money? I can dream, can't I?

What to do next. . .

. . . therefore I think?

I took the new Dating Persona Test and I'm still 'The Sonnet'. A few days later some of my answers had changed, so I took it again, expected to be 'The Big Slut' or something like that, and guess what . . . still 'The Sonnet'. Would that be 'poetic' justice, then?

Apparently there's another, newer one now. Haven't taken it yet . . .

Hmmm . . . I can't think of a single reason. You probably shouldn't. ;)
