I moved in the Bay a little bit more than a year ago now, learning how to live far from my family and friends. And it's actually not that easy! I didn't expect such a cultural shock.

I am a research engineer in a tech company: I study the mathematics and analyse the data that make internet work.
If it sounds too boring to you, I am also a "John Lennon" wannabe.

* Music! I've been playing guitar and saxophone for a very long time, and I can touch a piano and drums. I also compose, and I like to record myself. Recording a second album is on my list of New Year's resolutions.
* Coming up with ridiculously disgusting jokes

I'm not into what people of my age usually like. My smile.

A few years ago, I used to read a lot of 19th and 20th century french litterature (Camus, Queneau, Malraux and Aragon were my favorites). Now I try to discover american authors such as Paul Auster and Jonathan Safran Foer. I love Steinbeck.

I am definitely into music. That's the only thing that really helps me when I am feeling down. I listen to alternative/indie rock and pop, mostly british. The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, Norah Jones, White Stripes, Coltrane...

I love good food, especially when it is home-made or involves cheese. I know quite a lof of cheeses by the way.

I'm not too much into TV, but I like That 70's Show and Futurama a lot. The last movies I loved and remember: Black Swan, Moonrise Kingdom.

Also, I enjoy modern art. Going to the museum to stay in front of a Kandinsky sounds like a perfect afternoon to me.
