Reserved, shy, introverted, but with a good sense of humour and lots to talk about if you get me going. At parties I'm the guy who stand in corner people watching. I like going out, but not noisy bars where you can't hear what anyone is saying... Nightclubs aren't my scene, I'd much rather go to a quiet bar for a night out of light drinking with friends. Not a big dancer, although I used to do acrobatic rock and roll when I was younger. Self-confidence issues? Who knows...

I'm French and British, currently living in Frankfurt for work. Been here three years now, and love Germany! I can cook, clean and I apparently give a good massage.

Currently working as a localisation tester for Nintendo, and planning to stay here for the foreseeable future: Eventually I want to study again and move my career towards management.

Apart from that, the usual: going to the gym, hanging out with my friends, learning how to draw, long walks by the river, etc...

Cooking! I like to experiment and create new dishes, though I usually return to a good old curry when my imagination fails me. I don't really have a distinct style, just a mix of French, English, German, Italian and Indian/Asian food.

Apparently I have a very odd accent. The combination of being French and British, and living in Germany + speaking German fluently means my accents have all mixed up, and people generally assume I'm from South Africa...

Books: I mostly like Fantasy novels, but also dabble in fiction, thrillers, suspense, adventure, and some horror. Terry Pratchett, Clive Cussler, Lee Child, Dean Koontz, Jasper Fforde, Scott Pilgrim Novels, A song of Fire and Ice, Brandon Sanderson, Murakami. Manga (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Toriko, Fairy Tail, Bartender, Tough, and many more...). Comic books (Tintin, Asterix, Lucky Luke, The Smurfs...).

Movies: Action movies (Star wars, Avengers, Scott Pilgrim, Kick-ass, The Matrix etc etc...), comedies (I sell the Dead, OSS 117, Monty Python, Naked gun, anything starring Leslie Nielson or made by Mel Brooks will have me laughing all night), plus sci-fi, some romance (The Notebook was good).

Shows: British comedies are by far my favourite: Dad's Army, Allo Allo, That Mitchell and Webb Look, Man Stroke Woman, Blackadder, Red Dwarf, etc. Add to that stuff like The Mentalist, Scrubs, South Park, Family Guy, Dexter, Fullmetal Alchemist, HIMYM, etc etc.

Music: My tastes vary a lot, though mostly it's centered around Rock and Metal: Avantasia, Papa Roach, Within Temptation, SOAD, QOTSA, Meat Loaf, Queen, Arcade Fire, etc etc... I' ve also recently discovered ElectroSwing (Palov Stelar), and it's fast becoming my new favourite genre.

- Food! I love to cook, trying new things, new combinations, new styles. Definite favourite is Indian cooking. So many spice, so many flavours. I can also bake cakes and love making soups in the winter.

- Sense of humour. I believe you can laugh about absolutely anything, but not with everyone. Slight preference for dark-humour and anti-humour.

- Games. Yes, I'm a gamer. I'm not addicted, these days I play 1-3 hours a night, so I still have plenty of time for other activities, and it's not like I can't go without if something more interesting comes along.

- Sex. Do I need to say any more? :)

- Work. I love my job, and honestly can't imagine spending my days not doing anything. Even if I won millions on the lottery, I'd still be back in work the next day.

- Water and food. Now, I know what you'll think, this is the typical "I need water or I'll die hahahah" answer, but it's actually more psychological for me. I've somehow gotten myself in a state of mind where I get panicky if I don't have food or drinks on me, especially when I take public transport, or use a lift. What if we get stuck? What if we can't get out for many hours? What if I starve to death? It's completely ridiculous, I know, but I try not to leave the house without a bottle of water and some cereal bars.

Death... Very grim, I know. I spend a lot of time obsessing about death and my own mortality.

Also trying to decide if I'm an adult yet or not, and why everyone is always staring at me in the street, or when I go jogging.

Resting after a long week, sometimes meeting friends at the pub, trying out new fancy recipes (or comforting curries), watching movies, playing games.

I own 5 stuffed toys and still sometimes hug them when I go to sleep :D
