My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a nostalgic sort of gal, kind of like a cross between a modern woman, a 50's rock and roll girl, a salsera, and a Lady from the 1800's. My life revolves around my relationships with others. I am on a life-long quest to discover and get to know myself better.

Myers Briggs ENFP.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Both introspective and extroverted, I'm at my happiest when discussing fascinating topics with a passionate person. My opinions aren't set in stone, so make your case. I'm all ears.

My work does not define me. However, if you must know, I've been a flight attendant for eight years and am now in the process of a career change to court reporting.

One of my many interests is learning languages. I've always got one on the go. Not only do I thoroughly enjoy it (not to mention it opens doors on new cultures and people) but it's also really helpful in my line of work. I briefly worked as a boxing coach two years ago, and boxing is still one of my passions even though I don't do it as much I would like anymore.

Playing sports is more my thing than watching them. I like to shoot the puck around in my figure skates.

I absolutely love meeting people and making connections. I'm very protective and loyal to my friends. I get very enthusiastic and excited over my friends' success.

I tend to take on lots of responsibilities, work hard at whatever I set my mind to, and have lots of patience. I love and trust deeply and exclusively. However, once that trust is lost, it is lost forever.

Travel has taken up a big part of my life because of my job, so if I were to travel for leisure, it would be to unusual, exciting, picturesque, and remote places like Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland, the Marshall Islands, the Grand Canyon, etc.

For me, regular communication is essential to maintaining interest in a relationship. I find it difficult to click with very reserved, quiet, loner types. Despite being a very independent person, I like and prefer talking and being in regular contact with a partner who is eager to do the same.

I'm looking for someone who strives for virtue, is able to communicate effectively, values honesty and self-knowledge, and is not afraid of commitment.

By the by, I don't do drugs, and I'm more of a classy drinker.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Asking questions.
Picking the best thing on the menu.
Remembering lyrics, but forgetting names.
Turning practical conversations into abstract ones.
Taking notes.
Avoiding conflicts.
Finding solutions.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My wide smile and big eyes can sometimes attract attention.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My taste in music is probably more important to me than it is to you. Hopefully two people can get along even if they have different musical tastes. That being said, I shall name but a few that really make me flip: The Cherry Poppin' Daddies (rock/funk/ska/swing), Sam Cooke (soul), Stan Getz (jazz), Antonio Carlos Jobim (bossa nova), Eddie Palmieri (salsa), Earth Wind & Fire, Jamiroquai (pop/funk), Amr Diab (Arabic pop), Elvis, Ray Charles, motown and 50's doo wop in general. Also, Persian oldies. Right now, I'm discovering Neil Young and the young Elton John.

I try to get some reading done every day and enjoy classic novels by authors such as Jane Austen and Charles Dickens, philosophy in general, self-help books, and various non-fiction reference books. I like to learn and think about the world around me. I learn more easily by listening and sharing with others, so I suppose I'm more of an auditory person than a visual one. Stefan Molyneux podcasts are becoming almost essential to my survival these days.

Silly Hollywood films are uninteresting to me. I never feel the need to "switch off my brain," so I rarely watch anything at all. Therefore, I may not be the best conversation partner when it comes to your favourite shows. I do, however, have a weakness for English literary period dramas, documentaries, some natural disaster movies, and Indiana Jones. But to be perfectly honest with you, I don't enjoy watching movies frequently. Please don't make me.

I am happy to announce that I am taking a break from my six years of vegetarianism. I might revert to it eventually.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Puns, because they make me giggle.
Freedom, because it makes me human.
My record collection, because music is in my blood.
The sun, because it is healing.
The Oxford comma, because it saves lives.
Coffee and tea, because they keep me awake.

Bonus: Alex, my bicycle -- summer only.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other people's feelings! I have a tendency to feel and think deeply. I am very perceptive, so I constantly worry about others.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out dancing or having drinks with friends. If that's not happening, I could be at the gym or at home relaxing or doing schoolwork. I don't have a routine, and I love experiencing new things. I am very social and enjoy going out, even if it's just for a walk through the city. I'm the type of gal who will go out dancing by herself and make new friends along the way. However, I do prefer one-on-one conversations.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wear my heart on my sleeve and find it difficult to hide my emotions.
I secretly want to leave it all behind and become self-sufficient, but I admit to fearing isolation and cabin fever.

Also, I have an irrational fear of spiders. Centipedes come in at a close second. I appreciate a knight in shining armour who will rescue this li'l damsel from the creepy crawleys.

u dont use txt lingo lol n u spell-chuck.

You are artistically inclined in the slightest, and/or like to share and talk.

You are not religious and would never become so. Having a purely intellectual interest in religion does not disqualify you. An interest in philosophy gets you brownie points.

You prefer interesting discussions over small talk.

You are looking for something more meaningful than a hook-up.

You've read this far and wish I'd write you.
