My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I find it rather annoying that every other time I seem to find someone of interest on this site that their inbox is full. But in other regards:

Hi, I'm Jarrah!

I try to be as straightforward as I can. I'm stubborn at times but I'll come around once/if proven wrong. More confidence than most and I'm not afraid to flaunt it. (but in a playful way)

Probably one of the geekiest/nerdiest guys you'll meet (in case you wouldn't tell from my pictures, thank god I'm handsome).

Despite my usual introversion I enjoy getting out on occasion with friends or sometimes just by myself when I have some downtime. Otherwise I'm pretty content just being a homebody and staying indoors playing games online with friends, watching Netflix, or building/painting figurines.

I'm a good listener as well, and enjoy listening to stories and anecdotes. I'm never afraid to laugh or at least show that I find something comical, if I think something's particularly silly I usually make it a point to say such.

All in all, if you're going to expect anything out of me, expect me to be honest.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently working for a company in downtown Sarasota called BioLucid as a lead CG Artist. The company specializes in medical animation and they signed me on because they want to do more with video game technologies.

In my off time I do a number of reenactment shows around the Tampa bay area. If you've been to the Sarasota Medieval Fair, the Bay Area Renaissance Festival, or John Levique Pirate Days, you've probably seen me swinging a sword about already.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
From best to worst in my honest opinion:

CG Arts (considering it's one thing I get paid to do)
Stage combat fighting (Because it's a hobby I kind of get paid to do)
Daydreaming (I daydream a lot)
Coming up with ideas
Being silly
Being kind of athletic
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My hair, naturally curly and poofy. I've also been told I have nice eyes and a very calm demeanor. Apparently my fingernails are pretty well kept for a guy too.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm not much of a book worm. I do much more light reading like articles, interviews and graphic novels/comics type stuff. Scott Pilgrim is probably the one series I've most enjoyed recently reading.

Movies; I like most types of movies, ranging from musicals to comedies to the occasional horror film.

Thanks to Netflix I've started watched a few tv shows, Daredevil and Marco Polo being the best thus far.

As far as music goes, I'm pretty much a classic metal head and classic rock type of guy. I practically consider pop culture to be the bane of my existence. However, there are a few exceptions like Mumford and the occasional Taylor Swift song . One band I've really been into lately is called Nekrogoblikon (goblin thrash metal, look it up, it's awesome) as well as Anamanaguchi and Diablo Swing Orchestra (swing/jazz metal, also awesome). Otherwise I listen to a lot of video game soundtrack stuff and songs from the 70's-90's.

As for food, Pizza's my favorite. I also really enjoy Thai, Hispanic food, as well as most homestyle type foods (mashed potatoes, baked chicken, etc.). I'm practically a carnivore as well, and often poke fun at vegans and vegetarians (you've been warned ;P).

I'm gonna put video games and board games here too since it seems applicable. As far as genres go, I really enjoy a good strategy game. Anything ranging from chess, to SC2, WC3 or the Civ series to a range of board games like Stratego, Settlers of Catan and a slew of others. Me and my friends are really into League of Legends right now.

Party games like the halo series and any smash bros. game make for a good time as well. As far as single player experiences my favorite games have been made by Double Fine (Brutal Legend and Psychonauts).

Yes, as said before I am a big gamer, and to be honest I'm looking for a girl who's at least into games. You don't have to be a huge gamer but it definitely helps the closer you are to being such.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A computer, unless I decide to go with a different career choice.
A mild-cool temperature (I hate the heat).
Something that can keep time.
Some sort of alarm, otherwise I'd probably end up sleeping the whole day XD.
A comfortable chair of some sort, my back bothers me sometimes.
Lastly I'd say Skype, just because it keeps communication with all my out-of-town buddies a lot simpler.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Heavier things than I'd prefer for a day to day basis, like religion and interpersonal communication (how and why people communicate), as well as the more common worries. If you're really so curious, feel free to ask! :)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Up in Tampa swinging plastic lightsabers and pretending I'm someone else. It's pretty good fun.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm a LARPer, both in my spare time and professionally. I do Star Wars Larp on USF campus in Tampa and I also do the Sarasota Medieval Faire as a stage combat fighter (which I get paid for).

I also cosplay when I get the chance, so far I've been Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop and Jay from anything Jay and Silent Bob have been in.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Congratulations! You made it to the end of my probably needlessly long profile, here's a cookie.

For the most part I'm just looking to meet and/or date people, unless I can see you being the "one and only".

However, on the flip side I kind of hate being single. In such, if you live in or near the Sarasota area and are interested in a free dinner (I insist) at a restaurant we'd choose together, feel free to let me know! It doesn't have to be anything big or fancy, I just think it'd be nice to go out on a blind date with little expectations every so often.

But if you'd rather just send me a message and chit chat I'm cool with that too. :)
