My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
The name's Lee. I like to stand out from the crowd, and you can bet you've never met another guy like me. I'm a social rebel, and I don't really give a shit what anyone thinks of me except a certain close few people. I speak my mind and always tell the truth because I have a lot to say, nothing to hide, and nothing to lose. I'm a nerd at heart, and a balanced mix: easygoing yet passionate, complex yet simple, fun yet focused. I have big dreams and big ideas. It must be said that I have no time for bullshit, so if you're looking for a guy to play head games with or want a guy who's going to jump through hoops to please you, I'm not the droid you're looking for; move along.

I'm in love with life and learning new things, and I'm a very positive person. It takes a lot to stress me out and I can always find the silver lining in things. I'm polyamorous (the ability to be romantically involved with more than one person at a time) and demisexual (not really interested in sex without strong chemistry and a great connection), and in being part of a sexual minority, I'm open-minded and I don't judge people. I have tattoos, and I sing and write. I enjoy going out from time to time (I really enjoy hiking but I need a hiking buddy!) and spending the rest of my life enjoying rest and relaxation. I prefer to live long and easy rather than short and crazy. I live a fulfilling life, and you're welcome to join me if you play your cards right.

I'm proudly outspoken on matters I care about. Check out my latest piece of writing here on my facebook:

For the record, I know my user name should have an apostrophe in it, but OkCupid doesn't allow you to use symbols, so I had no choice. :P
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now I'm working toward pursuing my dream of being a professional musician. I also entertain ideas of one day being an English teacher for high school students if the music thing doesn't pan out since the music industry can be unpredictable, so I've always got a back-up plan and a padded financial safety net built up to fall back on.

In my down time I like to sing, play guitar, play video games, read books, see movies, look at art, write, spend time with friends and family, whatever comes my way.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I can read people like books. I'm adept in psychology and language (including body language), and I'm a great singer. I love karaoke! I'm also a very good listener, and I can give great advice if it's needed, but only when asked for. I'm the kind of guy who knows listening literally means LISTENING, not hearing you out and offering you unsolicited advice, thus invalidating your feelings. I assume you're smart enough to figure out solutions to your own problems, so I don't offer advice unless you ask. I'm a very fast learner and I'm quick to pick up new concepts and skills, which means I get very good at pretty much everything I try my hand at.
The first things people usually notice about me

Food: I love sweet foods and salty foods, but I hate spicy stuff. I love fruit, pizza, salad, burgers, simple shit. I don't really do overly complicated food.

Also, OkCupid didn't include video games here, so I'll include them myself! I like a lot of fighting games and single-player story-driven games: EarthBound, the entire Metal Gear series, Silent Hills original through 4, all the home console Mario Kart games, the whole Smash Bros. series, Super Street Fighter IV, Soul Calibur II (GC version), Tekken 5, the original PS Crash Bandicoot games, Pokemon (more-so the old school versions), The Last of Us, F-Zero GX, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, the Kirby series, the Twisted Metal series, Mortal Kombat (2011), the God of War series (except for Ascension), The Legend of Zelda (not all of them, but my favorites are Majora's Mask and Wind Waker), the Donkey Kong Country series, main series Mario games from Super Mario 64 and earlier, TMNT games on the NES and SNES, Limbo, etc.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, passion, all the beauty there is to find in life, being appreciated, physical affection, and laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Other people and the world around me. I love learning about others, getting into their heads, finding out what their passions are, what motivates them, what they value in life. If you're looking for a guy who actually gives a shit about your thoughts and feelings and doesn't just talk about himself all the time, you've found him.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing whatever I happen to feel like that night - chilling at home, going out, whatever.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm an open book, but only if you bother getting to know me. You've got to spend some time with me before you get to know all the nitty gritty things that make me who I am.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
-you're open-minded and intelligent. I'm open to just about anything, be it friendship, short-term dating, or long-term dating. It just depends on the kind of connection we have.

-you're not intimidated by an intelligent man with a strong sense of self, a man who has opinions of his own and won't simply bend to your whim, and a man who's happy in his life and isn't desperate or seeking your approval to feel good about himself.

-you're more than just a pretty face or a hot body. I've been with women of all shapes and sizes, from small girls with tight bodies to big girls with round bodies. Looks are important enough to draw initial attraction, but if that's all you've got going for you, I'm not interested. If you've got a cute face AND a good mind, I want to talk to you.

-you're not too much of a pansy to tell a man when you're interested in him. I'm really not desperate enough to chase you around or play those coquettish high school games that girls play with men, dropping hints and waiting around for him to confront her, playing head games and all that shit. What really stands out to me is a strong-willed woman who's not afraid to make a move. If that's you, prove it and message me.
