I work for one of those soulless cubeless corporations trying to number crunch myself into a coma. Whats more fun?
Being buried alive by a mountain of paper work, or death by a thousand paper cuts...

I spend a lot of time trying to figure out more and more ingenious ways of wasting time.

I enjoy a bit of gaming... and the occasional novellas, tho shamefully, more on the loo than the couch.. But currently my favorite thing is to basically to watch/listen to some QI while making origami kusudama or crocheting. You can see the small collection i have built up @ http://imgur.com/JvkcN

I guess I love books where relationships/love, while not the defining/focus of the plot, is still integral to the characters. And purple prose, is a guilty pleasure. While not intentional, I seem to gravitate more to stories with hopelessness/bleak realities and occasionally fantasize about the end of the world/zombie uprising. On this earth, a person lives but one life, but a reader lives a thousand.
