Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Outgoing, social, with a sense of humor, connect easily with most
everyone; spontaneous, eclectic, with a natural curiosity and many
interests - art, music, hiking, and being anywhere near the water
or the mountains! Enjoy local and far off places, being out and
about, and just being home - reading, cooking, projects, all of
which are so much sweeter when shared with someone special and with
conversation that never ends. Friends and family are important and
include a range of ages down to a great (!) niece, now 3 years old!
I grew up in the North East, have lived in the Boston area for most
of my adult life.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Professionally, I stepped back recently from actively practicing
real estate, after working previously in higher education at the
Director level and in financial services. Earned my MBA at 50, so I
definitely will continue to do something interesting! What and
where -- to-be-determined! I'm active in a couple of volunteer
organizations, including the Boston Minstrels who sing rock and
roll (!) at homeless shelters in the Boston area.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Engaging and connecting people with one another; being a loyal good
friend; ideas, making things fun. Have to think about this more!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm friendly, warm and caring, fun, and have a sense of humor.
I've been told that I look younger than I am, but then someone told
me that eveyone says that about themselves. Oh, I'm also told that
I'm polished and poised.

Love to read - fiction, non-fiction,biographies, often times have a
few books going, or at least at hand. I participate in a fabulous
book group that began meeting in the Ritz Bar in Boston! I recently
went to Boston's MFA and Gardner Museums and wondered why I don't
go more often! It's hard to answer this favorite question right now
- have so many favorites - need to think about this more.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family and Friends - my close friends are like family to me
Love, Hope, Hugs - go hand-in-hand
Laughter and humor - also go hand-in-hand
Being near the water and/or the mountains - the great
Beautiful colors and seeing new places and things
I guess I started to get a little carried away here :-)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Lately, I've been thinking a lot about making the most out of life
and relationships from here. It would be lovely, for one, to
connect with a kindred spirit; a shared life is so, so much richer.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
It depends upon what's going on!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I was carded for a senior discount!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You are just nice to be with – fun, yet low-key, engaged in
whatever you do, have a number of interests, and a good sense of
humor. Most importantly, you are a man of integrity with
traditional values who is caring, affectionate, affirming, yet
playful, and you appreciate a woman with the same qualities. You
love your family and friends, have children, maybe grandchildren,
who we can spoil together. You’re easy to be with, and aware of the
little courtesies that add so much to a relationship. If this
speaks to you, and you’re emotionally available, I look forward to
hearing from you.
