I'm industrious. Some skills follow...

Picking out the right wine for any palate, pointing North from underground, pistachio farming, horse riding, skiing, fixing stuff around the apartment, locating lost items, folding fitted sheets (thanks grandma), crossing streets, finding odd and fun things to do, making spontaneous delicious lunches, surprises, planning trips, compromising, acting like a monkey

To be fair, I’m not so good at…
drinking cheap domestic beer, tolerating music and video game noises on the train, sleeping in a chair, waking up bushy tailed, watching sports (except the Olympics)

Books- I always have several in progress. Recently finished Escape from Camp 14 and The Picture of Dorian Gray. The former is alarming and sad, and the latter beautifully and cleverly written.

Movies- All kinds. I especially enjoy live theater when the opportunity is presented.

Music- Yes, everyday.

Food/Drink- Cooking is my creative outlet... when I make the time. I am no Chef, but I don't need a recipe book to thrill. I have a friend who believes diversity of food preferences portends the sexual appetite. Think about it.

How about this? A simple hanger steak with crushed green peppercorns and maybe a blue cheese butter. A side salad of escarole with balsamic roasted pearl onions and bacon bits with a white balsamic fig vinaigrette, and lastly a few roasted fingerling potatoes with thyme and lemon zest. Served with an ale or a Cab/Merlot blend.

I've been known to ignore the trees, for better or worse.

Would rather go to a party or art exhibition with wine + cheese + cornichons, than watch any sporting event. Would enjoy seeing theater more than almost anything else, but rarely do. I have no qualms about staying in with a book. Would be just as happy having a mellow or romantic evening in, as be with a significant other and/or friends out.

When exploring a Mayan Temple, I followed an unlit unmarked side path while using my film camera flash as the sole light source. At one point, I discovered a huge tailless whip scorpion over my head. There are pics.
