I am the quintecential girl-next-door. I grew up in a military family all over the world, and while I can be very independent I enjoy trying new things with others. I am very intelligent (member of the High IQ Society), self-confident, and have made my own way in life. I've experienced a lot in life, and I've always prided myself on taking only the positive out of it. I'm fun-loving and enjoy experiencing what life might bring my way.
I can dress up in that nice, little, black cocktail dress and spin stories over Martini's with ease, but I can also dress it down and enjoy a few beers in front of the campfire while making up ghost stories.
I am a special education teacher working with elementary education kids with severe intellectual disabilities, and I absolutely wouldn't trade it for anything. I'm also the proud mother of two mini-men. Let's just say that grass and blood stains do not freak me out. I've definitely been known to say, "Is it falling off? Then you're fine." :P
I'm very confident and comfortable with who I am, and I am NOT one of those girls who will tell you in five months that three months ago I thought that you thought that they thought that blah blah blah. I tell it like it is -- in a very lady-like, genteel way, of course. ;)
