I think I am smart, quick-witted, sane and healthy and looking for a man who's the same. Is that too much to ask? I'm easy going and fun to be around. I'm very even-tempered for the most part; the one thing that gets me crazed is listening to uninformed Republicans; if you voted for Romney or if you would consider voting for any of the clowns that were debating on CNN the other night, we are not a good match.
I work out regularly and try to maintain a healthy diet, although on occasion love a great cheeseburger and a martini. I'm kind of a word game/crossword puzzle nerd but will not try to convert you.
My two kids are the loves of my life - my son just graduated from UCBerkeley and my daughter lives in Boston.
ALL of my pics are recent -
I hope to hear from you! Please have recent photos posted (a lot of deterioration can occur in 5 years) and at least half of them of you, not of your pet or pretty scenery.
I'm looking for a contemporary who can relate when we talk about the culture of the 60s and 70s as well as the 80s, 90s and into the 21st century.
Please send me an email; I'm a sucker for a guy that can write well.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at a job that I love. Worrying about my kids (does that
ever stop?), appreciating my friends, and trying to slow down the
passage of time! No - not with botox.
I’m really good at
Not sweating the small stuff. Putting people at ease.
The first things people usually notice about me
They don't usually tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Other books too numerous to mention. Movies: Kramer vs. Kramer, Driving Miss Daisy, The Intouchables, Ida, Philomena, the Way, Way Back.....I love the movies.. . TV: The Daily Show, Homeland, Bill Maher, Masters of Sex, Seinfeld, Parenthood, The Good Wife. Music: Brazilian jazz, Beatles, James Taylor/Carole King, so many more. All food except sausage, olives, anchovies.
The six things I could never do without
My kids, my friends, good coffee, good wine, music, and occasional
fits of laughter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why did I just walk into this room?
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends for drinks and dinner.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I can't sleep if my closet doors are open - relates to a nightmare
I had as a kid.
You should message me if
You relate some of your life experiences to Seinfeld episodes.
