I have an exceptional talent for embarrassing myself in all sorts of situations. (it usually involves singing or just being too loud)

I have lived in: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, South Carolina and New Hampshire.

Why? you ask. Why not? I say.

I love music (hence the singing thing). I love the theatre. (oh no! the singing involved musical theatre?!) I love drinking coffee...and vodka. (but not together) I play video games. I make really yummy pies.

What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit

I work as the Education Director for a small community theatre. I basically run all of the classes, etc. PLUS I also get to do creative things as well, which actually makes me tremendously happy. So, after many years of being a waitress, etc. to pay the bills, I actually get paid to do what I love to do. Whoopee!

Eating unhealthy food. Sleeping. Writing absurd plays. Making absurd movies. Making mix CDs. Procrastinating. Knowing anything and everything about Anton Chekhov. Swearing. Taking old magazines and postcards and making them into cool artwork.

Authors: Chekhov, Jasper Fforde, Chuck Palanuick, Aimee Bender...among others, and any book concerning morbid history and/or Tudor England. Musicians: Aimee Mann, Nellie McKay, Kristin Hersh, The Shins, Ben Folds,Badly Drawn Boy, The Decemberists and so many others. I adore music, it is the soundtrack to my life.

On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit

Listening to music, writing and sleeping. I am so tired by Friday it's about all I can do. Sometimes I'll have a drink, but that ensures I will be asleep by 7:30, like an old grandma.
