My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Attention: Scammers, perverts, catfish, rude jerks, naked torsos, hound dogs, fake military dudes, trolls and assorted goon squad members: Please stop! Do not contact me. Leave it alone already...it's not working, so give up!

For all the good guys, those who are looking for a relationship and who are taking the time to actually read this profile, I salute you and here's a little bit about yours truly --

Animal lover, bookworm, artist, feminist and feminine. Juilliard graduate. Voted high school class clown. Tenacious, playful, caring and well...pretty cool I think.

Fav things to do: Writing and sipping coffee in my neighborhood cafe, cycling along the waterfront, people watching. Typical New Yorker.

I try to be kind in my daily interactions; One never knows what stories and sorrows the stranger on the street is carrying.

My mantra is:
"Life is short, and we have never too much time for gladdening the hearts of those who are traveling the dark journey with us. Oh be swift to love, make haste to be kind."

~Henri-Frederic Amiel~
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a financial firm. My background is in the arts as a classically trained actress, director and writer. In 2012 I wrote and performed a one woman show and am currently writing a stage play.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Telling funny stories and naming that tune. I am also very 'crafty'...I can take the ugliest chair in the universe and make it pretty.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That 'Mona Lisa' smile?

Movies: The 400 Blows is my all time high.

Other Top Movies: The Tree of the Wooden Clogs, Rear Window, The Shop Around The Corner, Stranger Than Fiction, Gosford Park, To Kill A Mockingbird, Fanny and Alexander, The Tin Drum and classic horror/suspense.

TV: It's my opinion that The Andy Griffith Show was one of the finest shows ever on television...seriously.

Three best albums ever made: Zimbabwe Frontline Vol. 1, Buena Vista Social Club, Tito Puento Greatest Hits.

Books: Currently reading William Butler Yeats Selected Poems and Four Plays, An Introduction To Fiction and In The Palm of Your Hand A Poet's Portable Workshop

Food: Cafe au Lait (you know, the kind that is served in a bowl) and a homemade sticky bun. Greek, Italian, New Mexican (Sopapillas). Fresh raspberries, grilled salmon, every vegetable under the sun. Garlic. Vietnamese, Japanese, Ethiopian...

Are you still here? That's dedication!
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
A book, some music, my cats, reading glasses, social interaction and my bicycle.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Food - writing ideas - what's for breakfast - what movie to see - what's the meaning of it all - what's for lunch - why people can't stop texting for one minute - what's for dinner...
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Doing a movie marathon.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Bunnies freak me out.

You're a stand up guy. You love animals (all animals, not just your own trusty and loveable canine), are kind to little old ladies and nice to waiters. You are willing to string a few sentences together because you're serious about meeting someone and well...it's just good manners.

I wish everyone well in his (or her) search for romance (or at least coffee with a nice person).
