My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a geeky guy, very at home enjoying conversation with others, the more meaty and challenging the topic the better! I have managed to avoid most of the side-effects of growing up including being overly serious/sensible, giving up fun and games and playfulness and becoming bland and boring. I have a completely irreverent sense of humour and make fun of just about everything including myself, probably you, but I take as well as I give - I promise.

I like people with confidence, who are proud of who they are and what they achieve, who have the courage to stand behind their convictions.

I'm lucky enough to have a job that for the most part interests me, though I'm not really overly career-focused. I enjoy activities that stimulate thought. Board games (OMFG YES), video games, puzzles, riddles, even problems. I like to drive my car fast, though I still have more points left than lost on my license, yay! I appreciate most styles of music, but tend to let mood decide what I'll listen to at any given time.

I sometimes get into trouble as I over think things and occasionally am absent-minded. I like to think this makes me endearing, but sometimes I just face-palm.

I play basketball regularly, I really enjoy the game and the people I play with. This offsets a strong tendency toward couch potato-ism (not a real word - I know).

I like to sing, but only my steering wheel seems to restrain from hurling vegetables my way. Seriously, though I love singing and karaoke, don't be hating!

I've not really done any travel outside Australia. I've usually got bigger fish to fry, or spent whatever money could have gone towards holidays on gadgets, entertainment or home cinema stuff.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mainly just enjoying the $%&^ out of it!
I'd like to buy a house but am currently too much of a spendthrift to make that happen :p. Working for "the man" doing techy nerdy stuff. Raking muck, being inappropriate and generally cantankerous. Pub trivia weekly, basketball matches twice a week, random other geeky stuff.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Computers (fixing, building, tweaking), conversation (once I've overcome natural introversion), humour, problem-solving, games, driving, Guitar Hero, 10-Pin bowling (can't play anymore though, due to carpal tunnel troubles). Making people smile - possibly my favorite thing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Beard? That I m a total dork? Dunno, ask people...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I actually like just about any good music, but I'm generally driven entirely by mood as to what I listen to at any given point in time. I don't get to as many concerts as I'd like. Last gig I saw was Muse who were absolutely brilliant.

Mexican food, Italian food, just about anything really. Not a fan of seafood though, or eggs.

Minecraft! Deus Ex series, Fallout series, Elder Scrolls series, Diablo series, Assassin's Creed series, Guitar Hero / Rock Band / Sing Star, many more but there's some favorites.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My Apple products (phone and pad).
Fresh and good quality bed sheets.
Home entertainment stuff.
Air conditioning (hate the heat).
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Random and weird ideas. Ways to win at stuff. Recalling random hilarious memes. Seriously been preoccupied by apocalypse survival plans and strategy (both zombie and non-zombie kinds). Over analyzing my own thoughts and reactions to things. Sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Friday nights try not to be typical, either in or out, but most definitely requiring a sleep-in on Saturday morning.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have more shoes than what I gather a straight man has any business having. They take up the bottom of two wardrobes :)
