My Notes edit

My self-summary

My name's Eric, and I'm awesome.

I tried writing a detailed profile but I haven't had much luck. I'm gonna try for a more mysterious approach to see if the ladies will find that more attractive. It's more fun to learn about me first hand than to just read some text on a screen.

I'm NOT a party-guy and NOT looking for a booty-call. Srsly. In a girl I look for friendship first, THEN romance. One can't happen without the other.

What I'm doing with my life

I'm currently attending Georgia State University for a B.A. in Psychology.

I'm really good at

I'm really good at making fun of myself and making fun of other people. Other things I'm good at making fun of involve: movies, religions, politics, society, and prejudices.

I'm also good at cooking, listening to others, making jokes, and enduring bad movies. If I can talk throughout a movie I'll always be fine (Except for when I saw "The Strangers"... that movie almost broke me).

The first thing(s) people usually notice about me

That's a good question. You tell me.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I don't have a lot of time for casual reading. A lot of my spare time has been spent lately either reading for school, watching movies, or playing video games. Maybe soon I'll clear up some more free time to actually better myself intellectually. My favorite stories include THE LITTLE PRINCE and A NEAR THING FOR CAPTAIN NAJORK.

My favorite movies include ARMY OF DARKNESS, FIGHT CLUB, JESUS CHRIST VAMPIRE SLAYER, and JUST FRIENDS. I've got a huge list, and let's just say anything done by MYSTERY SCIENCE THEATER 3000 is included. Hot Fuzz, Iron Man, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Murder Party, and Strange Wilderness. Recent additions: Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express, (surprisingly) Eagle Eye, Kung Fu Panda.

Television: This is a list that's grown by a LOT lately. Some classics first: Angel, Invader Zim, Mr. Show, South Park, old Family Guy (before they started making American Dad, too), Sealab 2021 (while mc Chris was still writing for them), Home Movies, Venture Brothers, Naruto, Cheaters, MXC, Cops, and Ninja Warrior, Code Monkeys, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dexter, Heroes, Lost, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Wondershowzen. New shows: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Sarah Silverman Program.

Music is pretty much anything but gangsta-rap and country. I enjoy Del the Funky Homosapien, mc chris, Jurassic 5, Bloodhound Gang, They Might Be Giants, KMFDM, Primus, Peter Gabriel, and a bunch of others. Add: Fingathing, Don Davis, Juno Reactor, Handsome Boy Modeling School, and any Mike Patton projects.

I live by the four food groups: the pizza group (my favorite is a crispy thin-crust pizza with green peppers), the sushi group (bagel rolls or spicy tuna rolls are my favorites), the meat group (beef tenderloin), and the pasta group (I LOVE lasagna, it must be a residual effect from all those Garfield cartoons I read as a kid).

The six things I could never do without

I could never live without music, games, movies, my right (and sometimes left) hand(s), a computer, and someone to have relatively meaningful conversations about random topics.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I sometimes wonder exactly how many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day.

On a typical Friday night I am

Either watching a movie with friends, out on the town, playing video games, or studying. Sometimes I just like to be by myself, but I usually like being with people I share lots of interests with.

The most private thing I'm willing to admit here

Good God! Where do I start? Uh, I once played in a VAMPIRE Live Action Roleplaying game for an ethnography I was writing.

You should message me if

You should message me for pretty much any reason. You want someone to make you laugh, to comfort you, or to cook you a nice dinner and watch a movie with you.

Or you should message me if I messaged you first and you just saw my page and said "I wonder what makes him tick. I wonder if he'd be interested in knowing what makes me tick."
