My self-summary
I would like to think of myself as chaotically peaceful. I lead a very unstructured life but am calm.

I'm a bit of a deep thinker. So hoping to meet someone who can get a bit deep every now and again. I'm like having chats about philosophy, life, experiences and odd thoughts.

I'm at my happiest in small groups of 12 or less friends of an evening with nothing on the next day.
What I’m doing with my life
Achievements I'm most proud of are building (with my bare hands) my own gallery. Starting a community newspaper, that's going really well. My MA in Philosophy. My sense of humour. The loyalty of my friends and my emotional independence from them.

Guess I'm looking for something new and exciting, don't care how it comes my way.
I’m really good at
Writing. Words in general. Perhaps not when describing myself, but I can turn a phrase.

I can understand most perspectives, even those I disagree with. I guess empathy. A hippy once told me that I was psychicly well endowed.
The first things people usually notice about me
Curly hair or blue eyes.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Prophet - Kahlil Gibran, Nemu's End - Rev. Nemu, The Outsider - Camus, The Immoralist - Andre Gide, The Diskworld collection - Terry Pratchet, Isaac Asimov's entire discography

Film: Most of the Coen brothers films.
I like cult classic films, like Empire Records, Wayne's World, Bill and Ted, The Big Lebowski. Darren Arenofsky is a favorite director. All of Studio Ghibili. Anything by David Lynch.

Music: Love Nine Inch Nails as a moody teenage band. Mostly ambient/rock music. Love modern folk like Mount Eerie, Silver Mount Zion, Godspeed You! Black Emporer, and hiphop, surprisingly. Akron/Family, are a Christian folk band from Southern America and they are awesome! Have a look for Ed is a Portal.

I love most foods. Especially curry, anything spicy and filling.
The six things I could never do without
My business partner.
Clothes, one bag full.
A place to sleep.
A book.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The human condition. Time, space. Matters of ethics, and experience. Philosophy, politics, faith. How to find self worth in a universe of no particular objective values. How to save the world and enjoy myself doing it. What exactly is it that separates the consciousness parts of the universe (life) from the non-conscious parts? Perhaps nothing, but then is everything alive, or are we just matter?
On a typical Friday night I am
With friends, dinner party.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a profile on a dating website...
