I like many different things. I read a lot, my favorite authors include Neil Gaiman, Douglas Coupland and Steven Erikson amongst others. I've read a huge amount of Fantasy but find it difficult to get hooked on new series nowadays. I read a book about every two weeks, evidently the list is far from complete.

Books I would recommend include : 'Snow falling on cedars' by David Guterson, 'Eleanor Rigby' by Douglas Coupland, everything by Guy Gavriel Kay (though I myself haven't read everything he wrote), the Song of Ice and Fire-series by George R.R. Martin, His Dark Materials-trilogy by Philip Pullman, 'the Sopranos' by Alan Warner, 'South of the Border, West of the Sun' by Haruki Murakami a.o. I also like reading graphic novels and comics, allthough I don't know enough of the good titles.I enjoyed the Sandmanseries by Gaiman, Lanfeust van Troy and Aldebarran en Betelgueze. Recently I read and loved graphic novels by Jirô Taniguchu.

I like many genres in music, going from soul over alternative rock to dance etc.

Albums I turned gray in the past include amongst others 'Admiral Freebee' by Admiral Freebee, various REM CD's, 'Elephant' by the White Stripes, 'Throwing Copper' by Live, 'Boys for Pele' by Tori Amos, various Johnny Cash albums, 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd, 'Siren' by Heather Nova,'Jagged Little Pill' by Alanis Morisette, Bryan Adams Unplugged, 19 by Adèle a.o.

Movies I've seen and approved are amongst many many others : 'La Double Vie the Veronique' by Kieslowski, 'Romeo and Juliette' and 'Moulin Rouge' by Baz Luhrman,'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' by Michel Gondry,'Scott Pilgrim vs the world' by Edgar White, 'Le fabuleux destin de Amélie Poulain' by Jean-pierre Jeunet, 'Moonrise Kingdom' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' by Wes Anderson, 'Superbad' by Greg Mottola, 'Die Hard' I and II by John McTiernan and Renny Harlin, 'Unbreakable' and 'Sixth Sense' by M. Night Shyamalan, 'Team America' by Matt Stone & Trey Parker, 'Sin City' by Rodriguez, most Tarantino films, 'When Harry met Sally' by Rob Reiner,'High Fidelity' by Stephen Frears and many, many others

I always liked watching cartoons like the Simpsons,South Park, Family Guy etc. More recently I'm learning more about Anime, I've seen and loved some films by Hayao Miyazaki .
