My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
A hateful shit. Avoid.

(To elaborate just a little: crushingly shy nerd who spends literally too much time thinking about bicycles, and that's not a figurative literal. I have been accused at least two distinct times of being kind?)

I have a thing for bike rides: http://strava.com/athletes/ollie

And a thing for photos, mostly ones taken on bike rides: http://instagram.com/laundry_hamper
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Getting stuff off the high shelf for little old ladies while puffing out my chest and flexing my butt, annoying myself, cycling up some big-ass hills
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am not sure, but I would imagine the impression I give is that of a dreadfully awkward houseplant
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Catch-22, Freakonomics, Martin Gardner's various things, The Naked Ape, and ~many more. For whatever reason, I gravitate towards pop-science/social commentary books, which makes using Waterstones as a shortcut between Paul Street and Patrick Street rather tricky

Movies: The Shining is my favourite film. Recently/regularly enjoyed: Funny Games, [Crazy, Stupid, Love], Brick, Stars & Watercarriers, old Bond/new Bond, Fritz the Cat, the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Swimming to Cambodia, Stranger than Fiction, There Will Be Blood, Cabin in the Woods. All the even more predictable ones too. I could go on, and might, but later.

Shows: Big fan of sketch comedy: A Bit of Fry and Laurie, Bruiser, Monty Python, That Mitchell and Webb Look, the Fast Show... Those're all British. Pidgeonhole me. Some of SNL is also pretty good. Breaking Bad. Game of Thrones. Top Gear. Qi. Adventure Time. Gravity Falls. ATHF. Sherlock. Who. The Simpsons. Brass Eye. Louie. Always Sunny. I'm going to stop now.

Music: Things to which recently I've been cycling: Paul Simon, Fionn Regan, Billy Idol, Yngwie Malmsteen, the Mountain Goats, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Thin Lizzy, Metallica, Hendrix, Boards of Canada, Owen Pallett, QOTSA, Ratatat, Talking Heads (and other Byrne,) The Who, Violent Femmes, Travelling Wilburys, the Allman Brothers Band.

Food: Sausages, pasta, cake, KCs, eggs motherfucking Benedict, bacon, steak, tortillas... One of the benefits of cycling a lot is that you can eat SO MUCH FOOD. So, I do. So much food.

Is "games" not an above-listed category because there's still a stigma linking video games and mouth-breathing neckbeards? :3

Games: Psychonauts, nearly every Mario title (particularly Sunshine, RPG and the M&L titles on the GBA/DS), Banjo-Kazooie, Minecraft, Super Smash Bros. (and Melee, and Brawl, though I haven't played much of that...), the Metroid series, the Zelda series (there's a definite Nintendo predisposition here) Gran Turismo, Pikmin, Age of Empires (II HD is being released soon: I squee in anticipation), and for the last [N] months, Skyrim.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
All six things are bicycles. One of the bicycles is the internet
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Like, stuff
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
On the internet, possibly cramming myself full of pasta in anticipation of an upcoming club spin.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
During the warmer months, I shave my legs. For, uh, aerodynamic purposes. I also have a well-kept lawn. That last bit's not a metaphor, silly.
