My Notes edit
My self-summary
art of any variety. My favorite artists are Royo, Belle, Dali, Boris, Rembrandt, van Gogh to name a few. I can stare at van Gogh's "Starry Night" all night long.
drawing, usually in pencil. I have not had as much time as I have in the past to draw, but I will still take the time to turn out a drawing that I can be proud of.
photography. I have been taking pictures actively since 1997. I have been running a website with my photography for two years now (going on three very soon)
cooking. I am always up for trying a new recipe. I can find my way around a kitchen and usually cook Mexican, Chinese, or French.
kayaking/canoeing. I own a kayak and enjoy a day out on Town Lake(sorry I know it has been renamed)Being out on the water is very peaceful and an enjoyable way to spend the day.
biking. I own a bike and I usually try to bike to work. The "cold" lately has given me an excuse to drive. I enjoy the trail at Walnut Creek park or just biking around town.
camping. I have been to the Guadalupe Mountains out in west Texas and really want to go back. Colorado Bend is also a great park that need to visit again.
reading. I do not think I have a favorite thing to read and can read just about anything. I have four book shelves and need to buy a fifth sooner rather than later. My shelves are full are history, biology, technical, religious, philosophical, mathematics, fiction, nonfiction, spiritual, hobbies, and cook books.
-coffee shops. I can spend a day at most coffee shops in town. For some reason I work better in public than I do at home. Who knows why?
I can usually be found at Genuine Joe's at least once a week. I will also frequent the Green Muse, Thunderbird, and Spider House.
I usually watch Democracy Now! on a daily basis. My radio is usually set to 590AM. I flip on NPR if I get bored with what Pandora.Com is playing.
I listen to anything news related.
Some of the "classes" I took in college that were not very necessary, but enjoyable were: archery, fencing, kendo, filipino stick fighting
I own a 12" Dobsonian telescope that I like to take out to Mansfield Dam on clear nights.

Music:
The first band I ever saw was KISS, but I was 3 and do not remember. So if that does not count, the first band I remember seeing was Heart, when I was about 7.
The bands I have see most is a toss up between Heart, Dream Theater, and Tori Amos I have seen them about 4 or 5 times.
I have a large taste in music. In my opinion there are two types of music - good and bad.
I will admit I am usually listening to "heavier" music, but I can enjoy classical just as easily.
A sample of what is on my Zune(Ipod) is: AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, American Headcharge, Aretha Franklin, Ausio Slave, Bat for Lashes, Bill Monroe, Bjork, Black Sabbath, Blind Guardian, Blue Oyster Cult, Cream, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Diablo Swing Orchestra, Donnas, Dragonforce, Dream Theater, Dresden Dolls, Evanescence, Fates Warning, Heart, Iron Maiden, Jeff Beck, Julieta Venegas, King's X, Lacuna Coil, Led Zeppelin, Mars Volta, Megadeth, Muse, Nine Inch Nails, OSI, Pagan's Mind, Perfect Circle, Pink Floyd, Porcupine Tree, Portishead, Protest the Hero, Queensryche, Rolling Stones, Rush, Stolen Babies, Symphony X - as well as many others.....
