My self-summary
Simply? I am a nerd. Very proud / comfortable with it. I don't drink nor do drugs (yes, I consider "soft stuff" like marijuana / cigarettes drugs).

Still reading? Awesome. Ambitious would not be the first word that I would use to describe me, but I can see why OKC would. Logical... but, per most ENTJs, I have occasional bursts of passion. Successful because I have the audacity to dream of what I could be, but firmly grounded in reality. Arrogant in that I spent much of my time functioning in the realm of things that I am good at, and am confident in my abilities. There is a long list of things that I am decidedly bad at. Generous to a fault. I think I walk a fine line of contradictions.

My MBTI is an ENTJ and OKC classifies me as a Mixed Messanger, both of which are probably accurate.

I am very open about myself. Here is my completely public FB profile. Stalk away!
What I’m doing with my life
I am still astonished by the "Senior" portion of my job title. I work on high profile web sites, and would be willing to bet dinner that you have seen some of my work :)

The future? Someday I want to be able to work in my pajama pants...
I’m really good at
...rock climbing (me climbing), computer games, teaching others foam-based medieval comabt, and relating nerd webcomics and the shows that my roomie watches in the backround to real life
The first things people usually notice about me
(statements in parens are my words, I asked around for the rest. I mean really, who knows what the first things others usually notice about themselves are without asking a few people?)

...that I have an out-of-this-world personality (I guess that's a complement? Imma take it as such)
...that I have *wonderful* cats (first impression when visiting my place)
...that I am very outspoken (anywhere in earshot)
...that I am easy to feel comfortable around (most recent OKC date)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Sword of Truth Series, Ender's Game, The Night Angel Trilogy (not vampires!) and a growing stack of math / physics / computer science writings.

Movies: Boondock Saints, Snatch, Shawshank Redemption, Schindler's List, Fight Club, the latest Star Trek, the Avengers, the Hobbit... gosh, there are lots more...

Shows: Scrubs... I enjoy a UFC fight every once in a while. QI, but most people haven't heard of it, Fool Us...

Music: I have a very diverse palette :) I see no issue with playing Waka Flacka Flame, followed by Phantom of the Opera, and wrapped up with Glitch Mob.

Food: San Francisco turns everyone into a bit of a foodie. My favorite is fondue at the Matterhorn on Van Ness, followed closely by really good sushi, and a really well-prepared steak.
The six things I could never do without
1. Oversized laptop(s)
2. Internet
3. My cats
4. Pajama pants
5. Car
6. Backpack big enough to fit an 18.4" laptop
I spend a lot of time thinking about
...any problem that has caught my attention, including but not limited to... games (and how to win them), philosophy, religion, software engineering, people, and math...
On a typical Friday night I am
50/50 chance that I will be doing some sort of exercise or hanging out at home with the roomies!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I will admit any one of a number of private things... but chances are that most people would be more embarrassed to ask than I would be to answer :)

I will add a few to make that less of a cop-out...
-Though I have been told that I should not be, I am conscious of my 32" waistline. I climb frequently to keep my job from contributing to it. For a software engineer, I am in very good shape.
-I have been growing out my hair for a long time, and will be donating it to Locks of Love soon. I try to say that I will not be self-conscious bald, but I know I will be.
-I am a touch whore. Hugs? Love em. Snuggles? Absolutely. Cuddles? Faaaantastic.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–29
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
...you are intelligent / can teach me something.
...you are a modernist in your career, and are ok with a traditionalist in your personal life. I have alot going on. For balance, it might be best if you do too. That said, I love to pamper / open doors / pick up the bill and am looking for a reason to make time in my work schedule.
...you live a healthy lifestyle. I am not a fan of drugs / drinking, and do some form of exercise 2 times a week. Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy consistent couch time too! Work out hard, relax hard.

Honestly, if you have come this far and are not sure if you should message or not... just do it :) ...as long as it's not another 2-liner.
