My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just going to say this, right now: I'm not really interested in dating at the moment or anything like that. But if you want a friendship, cool.

Working on an MBA in Marketing and International Business.

Wow, so OKCupid really changed things. That's awesome. I added some terms as to my gender identity on here. I identify as genderqueer, but I use labels like trans woman and such a lot as not everyone understands what I'm talking about.

I don't like to label my sexuality. It is whatever the hell it is. I'd say, if I'm anything, I'm a panromantic grey-asexual. But if you'd prefer something more simple, just roll with bisexual.

And I hate how I've broken up my profile on here. So blah. But it should hopefully make it easier for you to find the things that you're interested in reading about.

Oh, and GQ=genderqueer. Not Gentlemen's Quarterly. :P I've changed my handle many places now, but I'm now basically using my name and I'd like some anonymity on here (even though I've found more than a few friends on here).

My undergrad degree is in screenwriting. Yeah... I did that. I currently work as a reader for a small management/production company in LA (I work remotely) as well as a large screenwriting competition.

I love hiking and running, but I kind of fell off the running wagon. :-/

I love getting out to new places, especially local places, the theater, art museum/gallery, or even racing go-karts. I also enjoy sports, but mostly NFL. I won the championship in my fantasy football league one year (2013 season). Hockey and lacrosse are awesome as well, but I don't follow them. I don't like watching baseball on television, but I like going to the ballpark (Go Mets!). I also love going to hot springs. I'm more likely to hit up The Well/Dakota Hot Springs because of location, but one of my favorite places on Earth is Valley View.

Finally, my favorite hobby is photography. I'm doing 35mm stuff, working in the darkroom and all that, as well as some alternative processing stuff. Love it! So meditative. Also trying to learn how to knit and speak a few new languages.

I don't belong to any organized religion, and I don't imagine myself doing so in the future. I am spiritual. It's a process, and my journey is far from complete.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Mostly going back to school and just working on myself for a while.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I like to think I'm good at cooking. No one's complained so far, and the body count has been minimal.

Yes, I like movies. I went to film school, after all. I enjoy most kinds of movies, from indies to big-budget summer releases. I'm not a huge fan of rom-coms as many are the same thing. I'm also not into most horror films. My guilty pleasure is disaster porn (Day After Tomorrow, The Core, Cloverfield, etc.).

If I had to pick a favorite, it'd probably be A Clockwork Orange.

I generally switch between alt and pop, but I listen to other genres as well. If it's on the radio, 95% of the time it's 103.9 RXP, 4% My 99.9, and 1% Magic FM. But I'm usually being musically-ADHD with Google Play. I used to use Spotify, but I don't like that it shares what I'm listening to with everyone.

I don't really discriminate much when it comes to music. And I really mean that. I enjoy Twenty One Pilots, Metric, Of Monsters and Men, Johnny Cash, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Against Me!, Anti-Flag, and Pennywise as well as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Ke$ha (I know, I know...). There are certainly a lot more artists I enjoy that I did not list. I used to hide my tastes in music, but I'm starting to just embrace it. I don't care if it's "good" or "bad." If I enjoy it, that's all that matters. I even like some country and rap, but you'll rarely see me listening to it.

I generally read nonfiction. Most of my reading nowadays is work related (reader/story analyst), so I don't read for pleasure as much any more. Please note I wrote "as much." I just finished Going Clear, which is an in-depth study about the inner workings of Scientology. Really good read.

I'm not much of a gamer. I've been playing World of Warcraft a bit lately, but not a whole lot. Otherwise I like games like Civilization, Sim City, and The Sims.

I'm not picky at all.

I usually lean towards organic and vegetarian options, but I'm not strict about it in the slightest.

I love coffee and tea. Yes, I enjoy Starbucks. Sorry.

I enjoy wine, but my palette isn't exactly a bragging point.

I enjoy beer, but I'm a bit of a snob with it. Fat Tire and Laughing Lab are my go-tos, but I enjoy trying new kinds as well.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I *could* live without most things. Sometimes I really crave that, too. But I am pretty addicted to modern conveniences, especially computers (inc. smart phones, watches, tablets, etc.). I also enjoy propane and propane accessories.

Sorry that's not really "six" things listed out.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Too many things. I daydream a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably home. I'm not going to pretend and say I'm always doing stuff. I get out and I have fun. I see concerts from time to time, I might go to a club, be at an opening, or I might be at a friend's house. But odds are if you text me on Friday night wondering what I'm up to, my response will be relaxing at home.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I only have four toenails.

I'd love to have a goat and a couple of chickens.

I've modeled for art classes before.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Just message me. :)

I will most likely not message you first, even if you pique my interest. There are lots of reasons why, but don't expect me to make the first move.

I may still respond, but generally speaking, I might not or will not meet or write you if:

-- You're not okay with homosexuality, pan/bisexuality, transgender people, or queerness in general. This is a MUST in order to meet in person (should be obvious why).

-- Don't call me Jane. That's not my name.

-- Mention something in my profile, and I am more likely to respond. Things like "hey" may or may not get you a response. Sorry, I have nothing to go on and, unless I have some interest or I'm bored, I probably won't bother trying to initiate a conversation.

-- Please no one from the planet Virgil 7. Too many bad memories.
