I am energetic, intelligent, and awesome.
My Self-Summary
Well first off, I'm one super awesome science teacher! I love
teaching. I am a high energy person, lets say like a light switch
with no dimmer. When I am ON, I am full strength and burning
bright, when I am OFF, I expell very little energy, this is when
you"ll find me kickin back relaxing watching TV or on computer. I
approach all aspects of my life with a sense of humor and
amazement,
What I’m doing with my life
I consider teaching to be my calling.
I work in an impoverished area and feel very strongly that someone
needs to show these kids that they have opportunities in this
world.
I hope that I'm opening their eyes to their own potential and
having fun along the way.
Anyone who thinks that science is boring, hasn't been in MY
classroom!
I’m really good at
Rollerblading, teaching and turning a bad situation into an
experience with an amusing, funny story to tell.
I am continously working on the art of amusing those around me with
bizzarre questions and comments designed to infuse a little levity
into life.
If I have gone a single day without laughing about something, you'd
better dig a hole in the ground, 'cause I think I might be dead.
The first things people usually notice about me
My energy. My kindness. And my willingness to do for others.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books: I honestly can't even remember the last non-textbook I had
the opportunity to read.
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Jason Mraz,
Jennifer Knapp, Sister Hazel, and Three Doors Down to name a
few.
Food: Steak, Pizza, and Gyros.
The six things I could never do without
1. Coffee in the morning
2. Intellectual stimulation
3. A computer
4. Making a positive impact on the world
5. The Lord in my heart
6. Ebay
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Honing my craft, teaching my students to take control of their
lives and be successful.
On a typical Friday night I am
Relaxing after a long week of educating teenagers.
I get home from work eat, and mess around on computer and watch TV
and if that does not put me to sleep, I will clean house after
midnight, so I can start weekend with a clean slate and a clutter
free environment. Love to wake up on Saturday to the prospect of
nothing to but have fun and play, COMPLETE FREEDOM FROM THE
CONSTRAINTS OF SCHEDULING
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'm addicted to saving money on Ebay and currently pondering the
idea of getting pet rats in order to challenge my daughter in a
rat-training competition.
You should message me if
You are a positive person who wants to make a difference in the
lives of others; and you are interested in genuine conversation.
