My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Let's see, where to start. A few things I really like: long road trips, good books, folk-ish music, coffee, and being outdoors.

After college, I worked for a non-profit in India for the better part of a year. It changed my way of looking at things, and also gave me the travel bug. I have a long list of places I'd like to see, but since I won't be getting around to them soon, I've settled for road trips. I'm trying to get to every state.

I play a few instruments decently well, and I like to jam out with others. I like movies from the golden age of Hollywood and music from the swing era. I'm kind of an old soul. I love the sunday comic strips.

I've volunteered for the last few years with Alzheimer's patients, and I like hiking and camping. I try to go on a few camping trips a year.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm finishing up law school, and trying to stay involved in all the other things I like (reading books, going running, seeing friends, and so on).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a decent guitar and piano player. I can also touch my nose with my tongue. And do backflips.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I have a ton of favorite music, but some of my very favorites are Jackson Browne, the Velvet Underground, Crosby, Stills, and Nash, Elton John, the mountain Goats, the Arcade Fire, Trampled by Turtles, the Black Keys, and Bon Iver. There's a lot more, but this list could easily get a bit out of control.

Some of my favorite movies are Almost Famous, Annie Hall, the original Star Wars trilogy, North by Northwest, the French Connection, old Mel Brooks comedies, Memento, Inception.

Books: 100 Years of Solitude, Johnny Got his Gun, Into the Wild, A Tale of Two Cities, Stranger in a Strange Land, A River Runs Through It, Slaughterhouse 5 (and most of Vonnegut's work), On the Road. I'm also really into comics and graphic novels.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My dogs, music, coffee, humor, my comic book collection, learning new things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Places I'd like to travel, songs I'd like to learn how to play, books I don't have the time to read, missing my dogs back in Chicago
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually hanging out with friends, but it could be anything from going out to a bar or movie, hanging out at someone's place, or another random outing or activity.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I can turn my belly button inside out...it tends to gross people out.

If you like music, comic strips, like to learn new things. Or not. I like meeting all kinds of people.
