All right. My mother's maiden name, Roessler. I have one sister. I have, uh, four cousins. I like cookie dough ice cream, single-malt scotch, occasionally a good cigar. I like to fly fish. And I cheat when I do the crossword puzzle on Sunday. And I never dance in public (unless intoxicated, or a really good hip hop song). Um, favorite author: Hemingway. Favorite band: Hootie and the Blowfish. My favorite color is blue. The scar right here on my forearm, that's why I don't play basketball anymore. And I live in a house with two other guys. I'm in the Northeast, and I have no idea what I'm gonna do. So that's it. That's all you've earned for now. The rest you're just...just gonna have to take on faith.

What I’m doing with my life

Testing helicopters (not nearly as cool as it sounds, though still cool), and soon to be enrolled in paramedic training and grad school.

Fishing, flag football, making people laugh, and seeing the good in things.

My friends have my facial expressions down pat. It's absurd.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Grew up with Harry Potter. Dan Brown's new one is good, Hemingway, and F. Scott Fitzgerald. The book collection in my room is overflowing, but I compulsively buy them, intending to read them at some point.
Movies: Almost Famous, Top Gun, James Bond, The Big Lebowski, Pineapple Express, Wall-E, Indiana Jones. This collection is overflowing too.
Music: Country (lived in Texas and Georgia so its ingrained), hip hop (lived in downtown Atlanta), rock (but not hard stuff). My Ipod is a mess of genres.
Food: I think the greatest meal in the world is peanut butter sandwiches and chicken noodle soup. And if it had any nutritional value whatsoever, I could eat ice cream for every meal.

All I want is someone to read the newspaper with, take vacations with, to eat popcorn and watch bad movies with, things that people take for granted.
