My self-summary
Enthusiastic, opinionated and giggly.
Lone wolf tendencies.
TED Talks junkie.

Apparently my stream of consciousness is best represented as (bulletless) bullet-points. Bear with me.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in the arts. Trying to create meaningful memories and exploring every facet of life so I end up having hilarious stories to tell my mates.

Music is my bag. I work in classical and opera but am appreciative of all genres (even some country and reggaeton what you gonna do.)
I’m really good at
The first things people usually notice about me
My French/Teesside/Queen's English hybrid of an accent.

My lack of social decorum.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Love in the Time of Cholera, The Wheel of Time, Cyrano de Bergerac, Ham on Rye, The Handmaid's Tale, La Délicatesse, Fahrenheit 451, The Stand, Watchmen, Habibi...

Interstellar, Midnight in Paris, The 5th Element, Perfume, Before Sunrise + Before Sunset + Before Midnight, Lord of the Rings, La Grande Belleza, all of De Funès and funky biopics (Basquiat, Goya's Ghost, Walk the Line, etc...)

Peep Show, The Wire, Arrested Development, The Office, Sons of Anarchy, Girls... I started the West Wing omg yes. I now love TV series more than films.
I would say a whole-hearted YES to a threesome with David Attenborough and Louis Theroux.

Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Kimbra, Zero 7, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Mouserat... Gonna have to add Beyoncé in there.

Shostakovich, Schubert, Britten, Debussy, Purcell...

I don't like fennel, celery and prunes. I love eating everything else.

I've been with some picky-eaters and I'm one of those annoying ones that will make you try everything. I've converted a few people to the good things in life like olives and garlic...
The six things I could never do without
My freedom of speech. Thank fuck for that.

A great meal and a nice glass of wine to go with it.

A book or four.

My 5 senses.

Having a passionate debate with my mates.

A milky bar at least once a month.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"La vie, voyez-vous, ça n'est jamais si bon ni si mauvais qu'on croit."
On a typical Friday night I am
Forgive me Father, not for what I have done but for what I am about to do.
You should message me if
it's me you're looking for.
