My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm strong, comfortable with myself and generally happy. I love life, and putting passion into it. I am romantic, artistic, quirky, soft-spoken, gentle, affectionate, industrious. I like learning, using my creativity, exploring new places or ideas.

I can be witty and sarcastic in a lighthearted way.

I will take you at your word. I'm a bad liar.

After a rainstorm, i pick up every earthworm I see that has gotten lost on the pavement, and place it back in the grass.

I return pens to their rightful owners.

I will respect your privacy and personal space. (But I like hugs and will offer one if I like you. I'm not bothered if you decline.)

I wait until you're done talking.

I have kindergarten-teacher tendencies in the romance and friendship departments. I'm pretty good at soothing emotional boo-boos.

I like losing my train of thought long enough to discover new tracks.

I like to kiss for hours.

I like people who have a sense of humor that causes me to laugh so hysterically that I soil myself on occasion. People who are fun and thoughtful. Both are a must. one without the other is peanut butter without bread. (I love bad analogies.)

I am in an ethical non-monogamous relationship. I guess I fit into most people's definition of a hippie. I certainly have an appreciation for body hair on all people. My "dance card" is kinda full with school and the people in my life, so I am probably not available for intense emotional relationships right now, but always open for more friends!

I'm often on Long Island visiting family, including my three wonderful nephews.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
"I postpone death by living, by suffering, by error, by risking, by giving, by losing" -Anaïs Nin

I know quoting a famous person is probably cliche, but i really like the sentiment behind that quote.

I'm back in school for an MSW degree. Bear with me if I am slow getting back to you.

I also spend my days:
rocking out to Journey songs at karaoke;
riding my bicycle all over Chicago;
reading vampyre novels at the beach, in the sun (the irony is not lost on me);
having tons of people stay in the guest bed at my house and showing everyone how great Chicago can be;
eating doughnuts.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Enjoying simple pleasures like a cool breeze on a hot day
Learning from others
Being awkward
Creating memories
Dancing like no one is watching
Getting so involved in the sidequests of RPGs that I forget to finish the storyline quests
Fixing things (usually after I broke them)
Making lists
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
my eyes? Probably my beard and my bicycle. (see above, re: hippie)

Also, that I look pretty butch, but after talking to me, they realize I'm actually kinda femme.
