My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I feel about online dating the way I feel about Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray soda - I'm not against trying it, I'm just not sure I'd like it... I am 37 years old and, after seven years working in television, I switched careers and became a lawyer. I guess I just gravitate toward careers where I feel jews are underrepresented. Next stop: BUSINESS SCHOOL!

(I'm not really gonna go to business school - oof, I can't even imagine - I'm pretty sure I've taken my last test... at least I hope I have.)

I'm a bit of an entertainment junkie. I love seeing movies and going to concerts and comedy clubs... I love reading, although, between you and me, I didn't relate to 'Are You There God, It's Me Margaret' at all.

I like playing tennis when I can (although, it's been a while since I've played) and going out to restaurants, cocktail lounges, wine bars - but I also love days where I do nothing but relax at home with netflix... I don't get too many of those types of days, but when one comes along, I relish it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Lawyering it up, saving for my next trip somewhere, deciding which concert to go to next.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Useless trivia (is that redundant?), not taking life too seriously, spirited conversation, and useless trivia (it is now).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I really don't know. I guess they'd have to tell me.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have way too many favorites - if there's ever a lull in the conversation, this would be a great topic to go to...

The ones I can think of right now -
tv: 30 Rock, Seinfeld, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, John Oliver, South Park

movies: I love all kinds of movies - classics like Godfather and Citizen Kane, junk food movies that I know every word to like Lean On Me and Naked Gun, and obscure drivel like Super Fuzz (I'd be seriously impressed if you knew the movie Super Fuzz - it's a true underrated classic).

music: I'm not great with newer music... I was a big grunge fan back in the day, but I like all kinds of music... I have a huge soft spot for 80s and 90s rock...
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
I don't know. I suppose I'd have to not have them to realize I need them. How's that for a cop out answer...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Where am I gonna travel next? Should the 22 hours a day I want a dog be overridden by the 2 hours a day I thank god I don't have one? When will I have enough opentable points to eat at per se for free? Why couldn't we have evolved so that pizza was good for us? Why do I spend more time browsing netflix than watching something?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Could be anything... As cliche as it sounds, it's just as common for me to stay in and watch a movie as it is for me to go out for drinks or dinner with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I ate fritos in milk like cereal when I was a kid. It was really gross. I mean, I didn't eat it often - or regularly, but I did eat it more than once. I have no idea what I was thinking.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You're intelligent, genuine, sincere and have a sense of humor. If you're not uncomfortable trying a restaurant's tasting menu. If you have an extra ticket to a concert. If you like doing things (or want to do things) like escape the room, accomplice nyc or sleep no more (or wanna suggest other things like it). If you don't take life too seriously.

Oh, and if you are going to message me (which is nice of you) and you've answered the question "Which is bigger the earth or the sun?" with "The earth", please, please change it to "The sun" before you do. That way, only you'll know and I won't have to judge you for it... I mean, I won't mean to judge you if you answered "The earth", but I don't think I'll be able to help it.
