As lifelong dippy hippy earth mother, I feel a deep connection to nature. I find peace and refuge in a forest, a mountain trail, beautiful lake or a pounding ocean. Although my feet are well planted on terra firma, I have been known to dance in the rain, sleep under a wide open star-lit sky, commune with trees and lose my head in the clouds. Your ability to embrace these eccentricities would be welcome and appreciated! Lol!

My interests are many and my hobbies have been extremely varied over the years. They are far too numerous to mention but check out some that I have noted below, then add about a jillion more. My curious nature is always open to trying new things.

Longing to travel and see that being a distinct part of my future. Still want to experience the Nile, eco-tourism in Belize and a mountain back country riding trip. Would love to revisit some favorite European spots and discover a few new ones... sigh! There's always Waikiki...

As I love renovating and restoring old homes (they have more soul), I can often be found covered in plaster dusk and paint splatters. Equally adept with a trowel or tile cutter. Projects like this are my bliss!

If you can see me, it will be my eyes. They are large, wide and range in color from blue to green depending on my mood. They are expressive, usually smiling and always looking for other eyes to look into!

If you can’t see me, it will be my voice. It’s a little deep, but very gentle and most people tell me that they love to listen to my voice, which sounds calming or soothing to them. Certainly comes in handy, in my line of work! lol!

If you talk to me, it will be my open style… can and do talk about almost anything, tend to call a spade a spade, honest to a fault! Love to laugh and find humor in the most unexpected things!

Big fan of Stephen King's early work - you can't beat classics like Salem's Lot, The Shining, The Stand or Pet Sematary! These days tend to read more metaphysical works - The Biology of Belief, The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire, The Universe is Calling and the like!

All time favourite movie is "What Dreams May Come" with Robin Williams. Recently saw "The Proposal" and was delighted with all the great laughs it provided, very entertaining. Still looking to check out "District 9" and "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince"! Have to say that for me "The Time Traveler's Wife" was a bit of a disappointment...
